Seems like a good deal to me .... please be kind this is my first one.

Enjoy incredible picture quality with Toshiba 32L4353 Full HD Smart LED TV and explore amazing features and technologies like integrated Wi-Fi, Freeview HD and Toshiba Cloud TV. 32Inch TV is an ideal set for the lounge, conservatory or small living room, where space is fairly limited, but you still want to enjoy the top-class image quality and performance.

Freeview HD is a free digital service that offers you more choice with access to over 50 standard definition TV channels and 4 HD channels (including ITV HD, BBC One HD, BBC HD and 4 HD). Now you will be able to watch them in high resolution quality that gives up to 5 times more detail than standard television and makes image look clearer, sharper and more colourful.

Toshiba 32L4353 combines Full HD 1080p resolution with AMR100 (Advanced Motion and Resolution) picture processing technology to produce remarkably sharp images with vibrant colours, enhanced balance between light and dark, and ultra smooth motion. Additionally Resolution+ upscaling technology improves non-HD content to almost HD quality, so you can enjoy clear, colourful and detailed images whatever you watch.

Integrated Wi-Fi and Toshiba Cloud TV service will reveal for you the new meaning of Smart Television. You will be able to access all the online content that you want, streaming news, watching on-demand services like Netflix, or catch up your favourite shows on the BBC iPlayer. Furthermore you will be able to keep in touch with friends and family using the social networking apps and Skype; and thanks to internet browser you can also surf internet straight from your couch. With Toshiba Cloud TV app you will be able to use MediaGuide - an internet based Programme Guide, so you could keep track of what is on together with detailed programme description, trailers, cast and celebrity profiles.

Multiple HDMI connections make it possible to connect up to four HD devices such as games consoles and Blu-ray players and enjoy a perfect picture with improved transfer speed. Additionally Toshiba 32L4353 Smart LED TV features USB Playback that allows you to connect a USB memory device directly into TV and watch your favourite videos, photos and music on the big screen of your TV in startling picture and sound quality.

Toshiba L4 Series with slim, matt black bezel and metal neck will bring modern touch to any interior in your house.

seemed like a great deal, then I saw it's LCD, instant no no. Wouldn't even buy it for £150. Has to be LED or nothing nowadays.

TV Screen Type: LED

The only place I can find where it says LCD is the title of the page on Amazon, and even that says LED in the rest of the listing...

Says LED?

Just look here and there will be no doubt as to what type of tv this is!

Have some heat op.

All "LED" TVs use LCD display panels. The LED refers only to the backlight. Actually TVs with flourescent backlights are often better because they have decent speakers in them. In the quest to make LED-backlit TVs as thin as possible, sound has gone right down hill.

If anyone is interested in this TV and is a Costco member it can be had for £269 with a 5 year warranty here

costco.co.uk/vie…W2a

the 5 year warranty is very expensive -> compared to Richer Sounds which is just about £30!!

For £50 more (299.99) get the 39" version

prcdirect.co.uk/pro…3DB

(paypal accepted as well)

are the smart features on these as good as the ones on lg and samsung tv's??

Very true my 5 year old sony is better than most cheap LEDs. Also toshiba seem to stick their name on any old crap these days.

It's a pity you have the first comment and might put others off, as you're wrong for two reasons...

a) This TV is "LED" (in the sense you mean) in that it has an LED backlight rather than CCFL.

b) Unless you are crazy rich, no-one is buying "LED tvs". They are buying LCD TVs with LED backlighting. As others have mentioned, this can lead to poorer sound due to the lack of depth for speakers. It can also lead to a poorer picture, depending on the placement and number of LEDs. An older CCFL LCD screen could easily outperform a poor LED LCD.

bargain it seems, bagged one for the bedroom.

Very tempting but to replace my Toshiba Regza which needs about 30 minutes to warm up (if the temperature indoors is less than 24 C : displaying melted horizontal and vertical lines) but even after warming up it keeps showing fraction seconds of blank black screen.
So -> Toshiba or not To-shiba.

Thanks - my lad bought one with his Christmas money arrived the following day. Easy to set up. Great TV

Picked up one of these recently.

Great set of inputs, VGA doesn't have audio input tho which is a bit of a bummer.

Smart features aren't fantastic, but if you don't have access to them through any other device they will definitely be a plus.

Youtube app links up to my android phone nicely so I can easily stream content.

Set looks nice, no light leaks anywhere and the audio actually isn't too bad (no real need for external speakers anymore, but set is a little thicker than some which allows for the larger speakers).

Some people have mentioned in the past regarding the slow remote responses. The only times I've experienced this is using the smart features which can take a little bit of time to boot up. Everything else is super fast and overall I'm extremely impressed with this set.
