Seems a great deal, any major differences to something more pricey like the Samsung UE32F4500?

Samsungs models offer much better smart experience. Probably a better quality screen.

Toshiba does not have stv player 4OD, 5OD, spotify, love film, plex and many others that samsung offer. Samsung also have an app store.

Also usb playback as far as I know is very limited Samsung has played everything I threw at it. Toshiba 2 mkv's and one was stuttering and the other had no sound.

If your looking for smart features samsung is the way to go if your happy with iplayer and nexflix and limited video file playback go with toshiba. If you want a true smart experence with no need for extra smart devices go with the samsung.

Also note that the 4500 samsung offers 100Hz compared to 50Hz for the toshiba :(.

But a secondary note is that 4500 is a 720p screen so a compareable screen would be at least a 5300 upping the price even more.

This is a good deal Voted hot. But I would not go for anything other than samsung smart these days.

I would say that samsung offer the best but yes lgs services are good missing stv player & plex. But they do offer an App Store also so plenty of room for future upgrades.

LG offer installation of 3rd party apps which is good and I know there's a plex one knocking around somewhere

If it's smart tv experience you're after, don't go for a 720 Samsung, got for a 1080p LG

admittedly it might be worth it for CC points and quidco, but no retailer out there beats Costco's warranty.

the other week, I returned a Dyson vacuum which stopped working after 8 years. They took it back, no questions asked- they didn't even ask for a receipt. Costco don't even offer a warraty for Vacuum cleaners but they still took it back!

Just ordered using the code and Quidco. Current owners, how does Netflix play on it? Also is the 5 year definite?

its Tesco so they must honour what they advertise, you are suppose to get an email within five days of purchase with warranty details

Posting because I'm confused, I've purchaed one.
The box states LED however the information label on the rear states LCD and 85 watts power consumption, not 33watts as shown on the European Energ label
Also if you download the manual from Toshiba the site refers to a LCD TV.
Have i/we been sold a pup.

everywhere including official reviews says it is led...... don't let one comment put you off......

As said it is somewhat confusing the information plate on the rear of the TV states Toshiba LCD television, and if you download the full 90 page maual from the toshiba website it refers to a LCD TV.
To add to date I have not received a reply to the question in this matter raised with Tesco.

I see what you mean Rfa when i went looking for the model it was a wild goose chase.
I think the actual model is the Toshiba 32L6353DB which most commonly comes up for purchase in the Uk and is now discontinued (and the description and manual is not on the Toshiba site).
I dug it up on google cache here however

webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:CuV8w5fXmdsJ:toshiba.co.uk/dis…=uk

I think Tesco have put the description for the DG euro model on the site when it should be the DB.
Regardless both models are Led edge lit Lcd tvs and i don`t think there is anything to worry about.
I`ll see tomorrow when the set arrives.

Hi googling and information on the box for me has created more confusion.
my understanding is that this is not a full LED TV it is a LCD LED edge backlight TV.
the box has 2 labels i.e. 32L6353D HD TV. another states 32L6353DB
The box itself states LED backlight.
Googling I cannot find any reference to a Toshiba 32L6353D TV
As said have I purchased 2 pups? surely the purchases are not what has been advertised, also I understand and I might be wrong in my asumption that LED is superior to LCD.
