i have one of these bad boys on my wall, i paid £810 for mine a couple months ago, a good price and a top tv.

Nice find tolgak Thanks and for the discount code :santa:

Try Currys.. £883.95 then use the 10% RSAXXX10 for discount and XMASFREE199 for free delivery and 3% quidco .. Works out cheaper. Should total at £771.69 inc all thdiscounts and Quidco... I think ?? ;-)

That is correct. I got it there a fewweeks back and its being delivered Sunday! Cant wait. Not going to cancel for £7 difference I paid... just dreading the post Christmas price and if I should have waited!

This is the first time I've ever put thought to delaying a purchase for a potential drop on price after xmas so I don't have experience so...

Were the sale prices in Christmas' gone by much lower than pre-xmas? If the price difference is like £30 to £50 then I may as well just grab it now and be able to enjoy the TV over xmas, but if it's more towards £100 then I may just wait. Anyone care to share? :santa:

I'm in the same situation. I keep thinking about changing my CRT for a LCD, but everytime I seriously look at it and come on here the price has dropped! They will be giving them away soon......

The problem is that this site (and quidco) have turned me into a miserly bargain hunter. I simply refuse to pay a penny more than I have to anymore.

I can't believe that people actually still pay the shop price. I went into Dixons to have a look at these in the flesh and the three main 32" LCD's that have been on here in recent weeks for about £560-£600 were £799, £799 and £899 respectively, all on 'special offer'

I was going to go for the 32WLT66 but now that both Dixons/Currys are out of stock (probably because too many people were hitting it with the discount codes to buy it at £570ish) I think I shall definitely waiting until after xmas, at which point hopefully the WLT68 range will have dropped a hundred or so :santa:
