this should get toasty.

Amazing price, wish I had a Toshiba outlet nearby

Tempted to vote hot but the link is to the Tosh home page and is the most resource (bandwidth) intensive page I've ever seen, no text support, horrible for pay as you go dongles.
EDIT=======
TOSHIBA OUTLET= OFFLINE, STORE SPECIFIC DEAL, DON'T CLICK "GO TO DEAL"

Yes, but it's a Toshiba.

Toshiba as it was died in 1986. This name is now sold under license, purely for marketing purposes. Therefore the price of the detaild item is irrelevant.

Hmm......

They only have 1 outlet store in the uk lol

king_iang, is this for a brand new tv or a refurb?

Did you find out how many they had at Cheshire oaks by any chance?
Thanks

Outlet store deal 'possible nationwide' - would possibly ROFPMSL if it wasn't such a totally lame NON-DEAL.

Think they have an outlet at Ashford too.

Bought a toshiba in 2000... parents still use it and for standard definition TV it cant be beat.

Was watching it today and pictures looked amazing - CRT TV's still really do have their place.

You may also get another 10% off the cost if you sign up to to their rewards section.....

Proof picture could have been better :P

Then why post? Idiotic comment to make.

Had 2 tosh tvs fail in under 2 years, customer services is pants. Wont buy or recommend them again.

I agree. Was always a Tosh man no other TV came close, but since flatscreen they're not as good as others (in the same price bracket) . But if you can get this TV for this price it's well hot. Stores are selling mickey mouse 40" for more than this & it is a well decent TV for this price............so I think it is your comment that may be 'irrelevant'

Can you please share your source for this information? Their Wikipedia page ( en.wikipedia.org/wik…iba )doesn't mention anything of the sort nor can I find anything to substantiate this claim by Googling…

Regardless, their reputation in most people's mind is based on recent products, not whatever they were doing over 25 years ago so I'm not sure what relevance your comment is of, even if it were at all accurate.

Wow, that's possibly the best thing I'll see today
More adverts should be like that, do away with the annoying American-style voice overs!

Good deal, Most Toshiba's get fairly good reviews, usually place somewhere close to LG and Samsung.

How did they design, create & market HD-DVD then?

Yeah and that worked out well didn't it.

Bit like video2000

The old Toshiba ad was based on this '80's masterpiece by Alexie Sayle....

Did they have any higher spec or larger screens? Looking for a 42".

Ryu wishing he had another two inches, there...

i loved their Toshiba Regza 42XV635DB

one of the best TV's they made

Why post? Do I not have the right to comment? It's not as though I've mentioned a Manchester United player!

By the very definition, outlet stores contain bits and bobs from the ends of lines, so it is very unlikely that this deal is going to be replicable. I got a brilliant sweatshirt at half price from a Fat Face outlet store last week. Is it a deal to post here? Of course not. But in case you're interested, there were a couple extra larges and three smalls left if you want one yourself oO

And as for 'possibly nationwide'... LOL - how nationwide is a chain of 2?

Yeah, unfortunately he was talking crap! haha. In 1986 Toshiba were making one of the worlds first proper laptops with an amber plasma display. Specs were a 8MHz CPU and 20MB hard disk drive! ha.

I work very close to them so had a quick look for you.

40LV713 £299.99
40RV753 £339.99
40WL753 £559.99

No 42" in at the moment, just 46"

Hope this helps!:D

Toshiba and Hitachi both seem to have turned into Argos specials.

Just called them and they will deliver for £40.00

Your comments seem a bit harsh I'm only trying to help people save money.

Toshiba hasn't died. They make good stuff but I'm not sure about their TVs. I was never that impressed with them and prefer LG personally.

Good deal but its a refurb ( if you look closely at bottom of pic )

Why does it say HD ready then 1080p...

Which one is it?

1080p

I wouldnt be to concerned about refurb from toshiba they all come with a 12 month warrranty! and for a little extra charge you can get a 3 year warranty, I have bought quite a few things from this store and I have never had a problem with any of it, I am even thinking of buying one of these sets for my brother.

Avoid, these sets are Vestel inside, not proper Toshiba. Get an equivalent LG or Samsung instead.

Has anyone actually managed to get one of these?
