Not a huge spec, but I doubt you'll find a better priced branded 40"er. The reviews on Amazon are mixed, but as a second TV for a bedroom etc this should do the job.

Not a huge spec? İ've just gone blurry eyed trying to read it all! oO

Well, I mean in terms of HDMI ports, USB ports, and the likes. It's not got as much as I know some people like.

Says including 5 yr warranty on price ticket as well.OK for a second tv.

Which Costco branch was this OP?

My friend's a member and think Costco have always been very good at picking up the phone if you call them to enquire...

Why not simply call your local branch and ASK them. Product code is in the picture above.

Just rang Birmingham / Coventry - None in stock

heat added £499 at amazon so good deal, got my sony 50" from costco Leicester last year & i cant fault there five year warranty, would buy from them again

........but as a second TV for a bedroom etc this should do the job.

Just had to laugh when I read that - how far we've come in five years - a 40" TV is, well, OK for a bedroom.

We've never had a tv in the bedroom, and have never wished for one either.

dont need to duplicate work that others may have done

When a price ends in 7 at Costco it is a sale item and is probably store specific.

Yup weve come a long ways from nickin a sneaky peak at the old mans dirty mags i'll concede................:|

They have a white Tosh which would prefer for the bedroom wall costs a lot more. Anyone know if these are the Turkish made Vestel sets??

..........therefore picture/sound quality will almost certainly be poor, however for the price it's Ok as a second tv.....just !

You get what you pay for so don't expect too much.

I HAVE NO TIME FOR A SECOND TV IN THE BEDROOM, IM ON MY 16TH KID ,I NEED A REST

None in Croydon. Gutted. Apparently Leicester are doing special promotions with prices which are not valid to other stores.

Great find.

You aware costco online?

nice

lot of techie snobs about, a great vfm set for the main room, especially for anyone cash strapped, with a 5yrs warranty...unbeatable!

I've had a 720p Toshiba for 6 years now, haven't upgraded to 1080p as yet because the picture is so good.

Although if it's right that Toshiba no longer manufacture their own sets and these are just rebranded then I guess my little Toshiba review has no relevance, to anything.

It plays FLV, that's a plus!

It is indeed, other stores had stock but think they were 199 plus vat

Dont you need amambership of some sort to buy from costco?

Lol, why do people keep saying 'second tv' for the bedroom ... Noticed it on most TV threads.

We've never had a TV in the bedroom! isn't that were we sleep !?

Obviously your sex life is better than mine

40 inches is too big for the bedroom oO

Good price but a word of warning - toshiba stick their badge on any old crap these days for a few quid!

Even the people on Benefit Street have better TV's than this in their living room. Who is that cash strapped?
