As long as it's 1080P and has inbuilt Freeview HD I'd say you'd be buying something that you'll be happy with for a good few years.

Throw in the inbuilt Internet and I would agree.

Currently after a decent 40+ inch, as my POS 37" Samsung 5 Series broke 2 weeks back. Repair man coming tomorrow and hoping... the TV is dead lol.

I got that one as well, but mine buzzes, much like your avatar. I am on my second set now, but it still has the same problem. How is yours? Does it buzz at all?

Fantastic deal I think for a full hd 40"

try changing the picture setting from standard to dynamic. it seems to cure the buzzing!

It is £449 at john lewis with a 5 year guarentee.

I have removed the buzzing in normal viewing mode, by popping the backlight up to 90, but I still get a buzz on a very dark/black screen. Having spoken to Toshiba CS, they say that I shouldn't get the noise, but both sets have had it.

Just wondering whether to keep requesting replacements until I hit one that doesn't buzz, or to just send it back for a refund. It is not super annoying, but enough to make me have a sad face

the sound is tinny on this tv btw, thats my only complaint and its only 50hz, everything else about this tv is great though I paid £500 during the summer as our CRT died.

Not expired - its still this price...
