Wonder how many each store will have. Don't fancy 8am queueing....
No 3 year warranty interestingly. More confident in their own brand
Its the same one i bought a few months ago from costco with 5 year guarantee for same price.

OK as a bedroom tv

8am more like camping overnight!
Yeah, probably! I'm thinking 2 perhaps 3 a store???
Not 4k cold
Great price for a 43inch smart tv ! Have some heat
Good deal but I’m holding out for a Samsung
Good deal if you can get one
Toshiba acquired by Hisense and not Vestel thank God so innards and performance should be ok. Just make sure its not this model ....Toshiba 43U5863DB which has lots of bad reviews.
This is a good price but surely soon to be standard for 1080p. Probably worth buying, but not queuing for.

Pah, what nonsense! This TV has superior Full HD meaning larger pixels for better image quality. Also I damaged my eye sight through over self abuse so like to watch most content on my HD ready 720p display which I would suggest you try, because clearly your a massive W4$*÷£... oh keyboard stopped working for a moment there ;-)

How would we know what's a Vestel or
Hisense made model?

I guess if you bought one you would soon know eg dreadful colours, cheap components and poor quality control.

Looks like Hisense bought Toshiba in 2017. hisense.co.uk/blo…ns/. Either way both Hisense and Toshiba have a decent reputation for producing value for money TVs. Hisense is Chinese of course and are probably one of the largest producers of TVs in the world.

So in answer to your question its always best to do a bit of research. If you are going to buy anything over £500 you should have read every review you can get hold of as there are some awful tvs out there. For £200 your not going to worry so much.
Ive got a Sony 50 inch and the picture is stunning. however it has something called "auto dimming" which doest turn off even when you turn it off. The picture goes light..dark.. light ...dark continuously. Its easy to get it wrong and faults (Sony call it an enhancement) will drive you nuts.

Its NOT4K UHD, this is where most of the deals are are they not?
I paid 239 for a similar deal 5 years ago.

Each store likely to get 8 according to a member of staff I spoke to
Ta for the headsup wayfarings, so looks like staff relatives will get them
I saw one like this in a Tesco near Bristol Brislington at £187
Just been in the local Lidl. They have been given only 8!
Grimsby sold out in 3mins of opening. They have 4 to sell, staff clearly bought some
I was in local Lidl by chance at 805 first 3 sales were the tv all gone
Anyone lucky? My store had 12 only. Sold out 8:05
mine had 6 and were already allocated at 7:00am People had tickets in their hand. Absolute stupidness.
Tried in 2 stores for tv but no luck...to my surprise, Beckton Lidl didn’t get any TVs to sell.
Glad I didn’t wait for this wild goose chase. Bought the Sharp 40” smart TV that was on Currys Ebay the other night, £200 with 12 month interest free and just been delivered, lovely!
