Fabulous 4K is now available at a rock bottom price, thanks to the stunning Toshiba 43U6763.

4K Ultra HD TV - Ultimate Detail
With 4K UHD screen resolution, the Toshiba 43U6763 gives a stunning picture quality. The resolution is four times greater than the more conventional 1920 x 1080 Full HD TVs and it's a difference you can see clearly, with greatly improved realism and detail. Thanks to Toshiba's 4K UHD Upscaler, even standard FHD signals can be upscaled to near 4K clarity and detail - giving your Blu-rays a new lease of life.

Huge range of connections
With a class-leading four HDMI sockets and three USBs, this Toshiba 43 inch TV easily matches much more expensive models. Three USB inputs let you connect a wide range of digital devices and one is the latest USB 3.0 version for a high speed link. For older components, the 43U6763 includes SCART, component and VGA inputs - all very rare to find on a UHD TV. Throw in an optical connection for a soundbar/base and you've got everything you need in a 4K TV.

Freeview Play for easy access to catch-up TV
This 43 inch Toshiba TV also features Freeview Play. This combines catch-up TV, on-demand services and live television to make it easy to watch what you want, when you want. It's free from subscription and compatible with existing broadband services, while BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, All 4 and Demand 5 are available without having to open specific apps, giving effortless scroll-back TV (requires broadband Internet connection with a minimum speed of 2Mbps).

Smart connectivity including web browser
With an open web browser you get access to browse the web, just as you'd do on a PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone. There's also Toshiba's Smart Portal. This gives you access to a great range of web-based apps. These include 4K versions of YouTube and Netflix. Choose between the standard Ethernet or Wi-Fi connections to gain access to your home network.

Screen mirroring and apps
The 43U6763 offers Screen Mirroring via Miracast. Miracast lets you watch what's on your mobile or tablet, on the big screen - wirelessly (requires a Wi-Fi network and Miracast certified smartphone -firmware update may be required). You can also use your smartphone or tablet to control the TV. Smart Guide and Smart Remote applications let you take full control of the TV.

Move up to smart 4K for less, with the superb value Toshiba 43U6763.

Installed this today for someone ...

-Picture ok, not level of Samsung Sony etc.,
-Sounds isn’t “amazing”
-Interface is dire.. very clunky not as bad as the sharp versions
-Web style interface is sooooo slow...
the remote doesn’t even have letters on the keys, not very clever for those who don’t know it off by heart
-Set up was quick and easy
-slow start up time
-WiFi connection was good
-still a bit 1990s GUI.
-stand is good and robust
-remote seems cheap

Thanks op
That's a lot of TV for that price - I know its a 'Toshiba' but it's from RS with the 6 year warranty and that makes all the difference to me.

HEAT!
I've been looking at this but hoping that it wouldn't get posted. Probably get sold out now before I decide

Same price in john Lewis but 5 year guarantee
Good price, bought this 3 weeks ago @ Rs, it was £340, not keen on stand, legs are too far apart, better to wall mount unless u have a big cabinet.

Tryp I got what I imagine is a very similar but older model, the 43U6663DB, end-of-line from Tesco for the same price back in November (seemed a crazy price drop back then)... and sorry, but, I really can't fault it.

I know they are different sizes but can you compare the quality of the Toshiba to the lg?

I'm looking at both at 43".

Yes, I bought these for bedrooms.
Toshiba were a decent brand before, I had a 32" for 10 years.

Toshiba is back selling TV,s in UK after a few years, I believe their sets are made by vestal in Turkey but Toshiba have a say in software on the TV's.

The LG has a better os, it has a better look and feel to it, webos 3.5 is ahead of most other brands. I have the 55" oled in lounge and menus are much the same on this 43".

Picture quality wise, I always think you need a good source in, strong Freeview aerial or sky and use a wired ethernet cable or powerplugs for internet.

If the TV is for your main TV i would go for the LG but if cost is a big factor you won't be disppointed with the Toshiba.
Thanks mate

Read review, Samsung interface SOOO much better
Bought this for £215 from tesco ebay, refurbished with a 12 month warranty for the kitchen wall. All up and running and for the price and value for money you can't complain. Decent enough quality!

Look at the guarantee at if it were 6 years of torture stuck with the awful sluggish UI.
So I had a Samsung TV that was awful and realised how awful (especially. muddy sound) when I bought an LG after it went conk that really showed the Samsung up. The LG wi-fi module seems really erratic (having to go into the network menu to get it to connect every time) and there's some light bleed not that long out of guarantee. So what make do I go for next time?
