It combines the depth and realism of Ultra High Definition with depth-boosting HDR and a wealth of online entertainment via the Toshiba Smart Portal. Freeview Play catch-up means you won’t miss your favourite shows, it’s simple to stream Youtube or subscription services like Netflix and Amazon Prime*, or check your social media updates on the screen. And a full suite of connections makes it the versatile entertainment hub for the whole family, with hyper-detailed picture quality.

HDR with HDR10 and Dolby Vision
HDR deepens your view and shows shades previously unseen in home entertainment. Expanding light, dark and every colour in between to extraordinary new levels, this model’s picture gets closer to real life. This TV supports multiple HDR formats including HDR10 and Dolby Vision for exceptional image authenticity.

4K Ultra High Definition
This 43” screen has four times the number of pixels than 1080p Full HD TVs, delivering stunning realism, natural motion and incredible detail.

Onkyo Speakers
Capture a wider spectrum of sound with speakers tuned by audio specialists Onkyo. It improves sound performance with greater detail, while a built-in subwoofer ensures more powerful bass

Toshiba Smart Portal
With built-in Wi-Fi, an extra dimension of entertainment is opened up with Toshiba’s Smart Portal. This user-friendly platform gets you online with a wide variety of apps. Stream content from Netflix*, Amazon Prime* and Youtube, catch-up with BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4 and My5, or keep up-to-date with your social media accounts, all via your TV remote. With Miracast Screen Share technology it’s simple to wirelessly display photos from your smart device on the screen, and you can use your smart phone as a remote with the Toshiba app (available on iOS and Android).

Works with Alexa Devices
This Toshiba TV works with Alexa devices, so you can change channel, adjust volume, and more, with just your voice, using compatible smart speakers (sold separately).

Pause & Playback Live TV To USB
Never miss your favourite shows again by recording onto a USB stick or Hard Disk Drive. You can pause live TV and playback your recordings, just plug in your USB memory device.

Freeview HD & Freeview Play
This Toshiba TV features Freeview HD and Freeview Play. Combining catch-up TV, on-demand services and live television, watching what you want, when you want, is easier than ever. It’s free from subscription and services such as BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4 and My5 are available without having to open specific applications. This gives effortless scroll back so you never miss a second of your favourite shows.

Complete connections
With HDMI, USB, composite, component and VGA inputs you can easily connect your media players, games consoles and computers. Listen discretely with a headphone socket, while an optical connection ensures high quality audio connection for sound bars. The full complement of connections makes this Toshiba TV the complete home entertainment hub.

Perfect partners
With TVs getting slimmer and built-in speakers getting smaller, choosing the right sound system is more important than ever. Soundbars enhance your TV’s sound quality and add that extra audio punch to all your movies, games and TV programmes. More affordable and easier to set up than a full size speaker system, they don’t compromise on quality either.
Take a look at our full range of soundbars.

Don’t forget...
If you want to connect your TV to a blu-ray player, games console, soundbar or soundbase then you’ll need a HDMI cable.

What is vestel tv?

A parent company which has purchased previously reputable companies. They aren't as bad as people say. It's quite common for one company to make the screens for many. LG have been doing it for years.

So what if it is?
Nothing wrong with this TV price is good and 5 year warranty.

I've got a Toshiba in bedroom it's been bloody brilliant
Cheap Turkish brand that aren't the greatest. They make budget tvs for manufacturers and stick the relevant badge on it. So you think your buying to name a few Hitachi Panasonic Toshiba

Same here, my Toshiba full HD i purchased in 2012 gives better picture than most "so called" 4K tv's at this budget.
Also have previous Toshiba 43" model, smart TV for past couple of years as main TV and can't fault it. Been a really good buy.
Great deal IMO thanks.
@chancooluk has some great advice / knowledge on this TV, and I went to see it in store today.....really good picture (took it off store mode btw) and sound from the ONKYO speakers is excellent....I will be buying this over the Argos one as not fussed about Alexa and the 5year guarantee is a winner
Refresh rate is only 50hz on this TV though...

50/60hz. The terms are interchangeable these days, a 50hz TV is also a 60hz TV. The same with 100/120hz.

You won't find a new TV at this price with 100/120hz.
aaarrrggghhh I can't "pull the trigger" on this deal - has anyone bought and can convince me please?

Your better off reading the reviews online to be honest because those are from people who've actually bought it - problem with asking on here is people can tell you anything and you'd be inclined to believe it, at least the online reviews should be reasonably truthful

Thank you that would be great
I have just received mine, sound and picture are great. Dolby Vision am yet to see.. yes its not really a toshiba, and the apps - netflix in particular - let it down a bit, but its a 43" 4k tv for sub 300. For decent apps get a roku - its got all the apps inc apple tv
Anyone else who's bought one.. you notice that if you have automatic updates the sw version number disappears leaving only app number?
