do pc world do buy now pay 6 month 1 year later \?????

Next cheapest is not "around £50 more", it's £793 at Amazon (£34). Also £799 at Comet, £799 at Laskys...less than 5% between them, it's only the voucher that makes it any different. And as you've said many times lately, is such a small margin really worth a deal post?

Get your facts right Bd, it's £793.15 delivered @ Amazon. I'd call that a good saving

It's £799.02 delivered at amazon actually BD. So yes, I do consider it a good saving for anyone wanting this tv. And for quidco users, the price drops to just £740.99 so nearly £60 saving

what's your problem Bd, what does it matter if it's 'only' £30? That's a lot of money to people buying a tv, especially in this current climate. Seems tro me you're more interested in inviting cold voters and perhaps depriving people of a genuine saving than anything else.

Well by the same token, what does it matter if it's "only" £1 saving on a Fawlty Towers boxset? But you were more than happy to point that out to ]criticise someone else's deal. I just get confused by your criteria for what constitutes a worthwhile deal sometimes, that's all.

Not comparable - bit of a difference between only £1 saving on a £12.99 dvd than £30-£60 on a £799 tv. And besides, plenty tv deals are posted - some into the hundreds heat - that are less than £10 between the next highest. Don't see you commenting as such on those threads.

Go Via Quidco then shop.com to the Amazon deal. Shop.com is 7% on Quidco. Takes the deal to sub £750.

Great TV BTW - had mine a month but paid much more.

Of course it's comparable. You said an 8% saving wasn't good enough on the DVD, but you're saying a 4% saving on the TV is. :?

Well there we go - even less of a saving now.

1 year warranty on a £760 TV! I'll pass on that.

Bristoldeal & Whizzkid.
Behave!

What annoys me is I paid £1400 for a 42" non 1080P Samsung tv only 2 years ago.

Mind you the picture display is excellent and 1080p is overated anyway......1080i rules!

now now boys stop arguing

Got John Lewis to pricematch one of these from comet a few weeks back. 5 Year warranty!! UK stock was limited but they had some in the midlands and south. Very good TV and gorgeous with the PS3 attached!
