Fabulous 4K on a 49 inch screen is now available at a bargain price - with the Toshiba 49U6763.

4K Ultra HD TV - Ultimate Detail
With 4K UHD screen resolution, the Toshiba 49U6763 gives a stunning picture quality. The resolution is four times greater than the more conventional 1920 x 1080 Full HD TVs and it's a difference you can see clearly, with greatly improved realism and detail. Thanks to Toshiba's 4K UHD Upscaler, even standard FHD signals can be upscaled to near 4K clarity and detail - giving your Blu-rays a new lease of life.

Huge range of connections
With a class-leading four HDMI sockets and three USBs, this Toshiba 49 inch TV easily matches much more expensive models. Three USB inputs let you connect a wide range of digital devices and one is the latest USB 3.0 version for a high speed link. For older components, the 49U6763 includes SCART, component and VGA inputs - all very rare to find on a UHD TV. Throw in an optical connection for a soundbar/base and you've got everything you need in a 4K TV.

Freeview Play for easy access to catch-up TV
This 49 inch Toshiba TV also features Freeview Play. This combines catch-up TV, on-demand services and live television to make it easy to watch what you want, when you want. It's free from subscription and compatible with existing broadband services, while BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, All 4 and Demand 5 are available without having to open specific apps, giving effortless scroll-back TV (requires broadband Internet connection with a minimum speed of 2Mbps).

Smart connectivity including web browser
With an open web browser you get access to browse the web, just as you'd do on a PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone. There's also Toshiba's Smart Portal. This gives you access to a great range of web-based apps. These include 4K versions of YouTube and Netflix. Choose between the standard Ethernet or Wi-Fi connections to gain access to your home network.

Screen mirroring and apps
The 49U6763 offers Screen Mirroring via Miracast. Miracast lets you watch what's on your mobile or tablet, on the big screen - wirelessly (requires a Wi-Fi network and Miracast certified smartphone -firmware update may be required). You can also use your smartphone or tablet to control the TV. Smart Guide and Smart Remote applications let you take full control of the TV.

Hi Mate

Forgive me if I'm being naive

You mentioned that this TV is 8 bit ÷ FRC as well as HDR10 + HLG, however it is not being advertised as HDR?

What do I need to look at the specs to identify it as being a tv that supports HDR.

Thanks in advance

Much of it means little to anyone at this price, it's generally implementation that determines quality.
