My 42" Plasma cost that much....... Albeit 8-10 years ago

Would love one but my trusted Panny is still going strong, might need to remove fuse and tell the Mrs it's unrepairable!

I've had my Panny Plasma for around 7 years and with the World Cup I thought I'd treat myself so bought a Sony KDL-50W829 from JL for £799. I was very disappointed with the Sony. No matter what mode and fine tuning I did, the footy picture just wasn't right so had to return it and went back to my trusted Panny. I think I'll wait for the Panny AX900 series of 4K TV's out this autumn.
