Great SD card for the price. It's UHS U3 so minimum 30MB/s write speeds - great for 4K and the price is pretty low compared to many others as well as what it has been in the past few months.

Prices of flash memory have rocketed. So put off buying any atm until they come back down to where they should be. Given how memory should increase over time for the same price these cards should be under a tenner now!

Is this better than the Samsung Evo Plus?

Samsung completely blows it out the water. Guess I'll go with the Samsung deal.

you wont see the prices of last year any time soon. The devalued £ means everything costs much more. Its a huge mark up - around 25% but its the best deal at the moment - this or the Samsung. I buy whichever is the cheapest. Bought 2 of these recently for this price. You could be waiting forever for prices fall.

I bought Samsung EVO. Used to got Evo in my iBook pro and It was amazing

Mymemory have the samsung EVO 64 @ £19-99 delivered.

I love that site but it also irks me now to buy anything when it's not the cheapest it's ever been.

Also irritating to see companies selling on Amazon with fake RRPs, Anker seem to be the biggest culprits.

Comparing the performance of a 64GB card versus a 256GB card of a different manufacturer is not a good idea unless you qualify it as larger cards often are noticeably faster.

Don't blame on the £ devalue. Ram, ssd, memory card USB stick. The price is go up from every country.

I've contacted the suppliers (my job) and they tell me the price increases are unavoidable due to currency fluctuations - so based on what they have told me it is the result of Brexit. I get it that euro prices are not that much different, but their Euro goes further than our £.
