I believe these are Vestel, Panasonic no longer use Vestel as they were damaging their brand image. Care to show your resource?
These will likely have great picture quality though Vestel TVs typically have poor reliability. A 5 year warranty removes the financial risk though not the inconvenience.

From what I understand Panasonics oled is actually made by Panasonic. Although LG make all the panels etc.

This must be Vestels first foray into OLED.

That warranty makes it a good buy. Should be an LG panel.

Presently awaiting a power supply board for a JVC TV jist over 5 years old. Board marked Vestel and judging by the amount of replacement boards available and info online they are pretty useless. At least spares are cheap as they are plentiful.

Definitely an LG OLED panel. Thoughts about this TV on AVForums are pretty positive.

Got to be positive. This price is an all time low. And the 5 year warranty negates any risk.
It's worth suggesting though, that anyone who has the TV on a lot might be advised to avoid OLED. It degrades over time.

Costco are very good on returns. Interesting that the OLED screens deteriorate over time. I wonder if it did "wear out" within the five years if they would replace it.

The O in OLED stands for organic and it naturally decays over time. If the TV is placed in a cool and dry place away from harsh sunlight, it’ll survive longer.
It's the Blue that degrades the most. Software compensates plus longevity from LG has improved anyway.

Your standard none OLED TV is down to 50% brightness at 20,000 or so hours.

Costco will replace if there’s a speck of dust On the top Warranty 2nd to none it’s worth £200 For the Costco warranty alone in my opinion

I'm learning all the time. All of this is news to me. 20,000 hours more or less equates to 5 years for me.
I know its a Toshiba but this OLED TV looks stunning nonetheless. The question is whether its worth the few extra hundred quid for an LG OLED.

Wow! That’s almost 11hrs a day every day for 5 years. Thats a lot of viewing
i think the Panasonic at £1400 was a better deal.

still a good price though for a 65 inch shows how the new models every year take the mickey 3-4k as they all use the same panel.

House full of kids and adults, gaming consoles, netflix, sky. Soon adds up
I wander if the online price will match? That will never fit in my car.
Anyway this can be refreshed? This deal is out on Monday.
Out of stock?
Any news on this deal?
Just bought this in Costco Liverpool. They had another 6 left, and a delivery tomorrow. Haydock had none today but something like 12 being delivered tomorrow.

I've only switched Netflix on, and Wow the picture quality was brilliant. That was Star Trek Discovery, which was only 1080p. A 4K movie was the bee's knees. I thought my Plasma had a good picture.

Ps,
If your like me, 65" is a big step up from a 50".
Did anyone else buy this?

I too seen this in the Liverpool Costsco, very tempted after having a look around, the quality in my opinion was the best out of the lot. Although I'm not all that clued up with current TV's the quality not of the unit on display was superb. I currently have a 40" Sony Bravia about 7 years old and am looking to upgrade. I had settle on a 55" as that a decently jump but after seeing this deal I'm very tempted, not sure if 65" is too big though ! Also, the comments about this being made Vestels have put it on hold a short it's not a company I have heard of before. The warranty is great thou which again has me undecided.

If they are still playing Bumble Bee, and you like the picture quality, then go for it. Thats a low bitrate 4k film on a USB stick. I got mine home and put Netflix on, and the quality is 10 x better than they are showing in the shop. The first thing I saw was Star Trek discovery, and thought wow, I hadn't realised it was only playing 1080p, but so much better than the Panasonic plasma I've had for years. When I put a 4K film on, even my techy nephew was impressed.

If you can afford it, and have the room, go for it. What have you got to loose, they have a 90 day return, so if you don't like the quality or size, return it within the 90 days for your money back.

Vestel is actual a very large TV manufacture, and make Tv's which are then rebranded, such as some mid to lower end Panasonic's, Phillips, Hitachi and many more. They are the largest European TV manufacture.

The screen is LG, just like all the other OLED TV's.

I went for this because it was cheap, not because I couldn't afford more, I was thinking about the new Panasonic, but £4000 and the TV's advancing so quick, I don't think it was worth it, not for the amount of TV I watch. Anyway at this price, you could keep it for a year or two and then sell it on, and then go for something else.

Just remember 65" is big big jump from 40". It doesn't sound it, but it is. No 40" in this picture but it shows a 43"37680520-fJwuc.jpg
