THis was posted at Argos a while back and went HOT HOT HOT!!

Lovefilm works perfectly and is for 4 discs a month!

What's the blu-ray player like?

Ah, this is the newer version. It is the BDX2000 at Argos, still available:

argos.co.uk/sta…htm

I bought it then sold it on Amazon for the same price so got £90 back after fees! So £10 for a years subs!

I like this a lot! Good deal with the love film subscription!

Price has dropped to £100 - Good deal

Why is this not HOT? great deal

Worth mentioning for others... you MUST claim for the free 12 months lovefilm within 7 days of buying this player. But once you have the code I "think" you only have to use the code by the end of the year. My parents are on a 3 months for price of 1 deal so I am going to buy this, sell it on Amazon and claim the 12 months lovefilm.

If you want to resell it you need to open the box and peel the large "Free 12 Months Lovefilm" off the top of the player. If it is the same as the BDX2000 there will be no other reference to the Lovefilm offer apart from that. I did mention in my Amazon listing when I sold the 2000 model that it did not come with the Free LoveFilm offer and it still sold within 24hrs as it was £25 cheaper than other sellers.

You have to register the product within 7 days and then print off a certificate and send the certificate, your original receipt and proof of age off. They then send you the voucher.

Does anyone know how to play mkv files off a hard drive using this player? I plug the USB external hard drive in the front and USB detected appears on the screen but then disappears. I cannot find a way to access the content on the hard drive. There are no real instructions in the manual.
Does the hard drive have to be NTFS or FAT32 formatted and do the movies have to be split into bite size chunks?

This player does not support MKV files. I have just bought it and tried playing an MKV file only to get the following message:

"Player is not supported to play this file!"

Has anyone else got MKV files to play on this please?
