Yeah thanks, but I already have a BDX3200, I was wondering if there was a similar region free hack for the BDX3300 that was listed by the OP.

The BDX3200 hack/firmware update only works on these models:
Thanks, been looking for a good blu-ray player to come up. Ordered and heat added!

Great price for bluray with wireless and display quality is fine.
Considering I paid £50 just for the wireless dongle for my Samsung Bluray player, this is a good find.
Anyone know if this has an Optical Output?
This is nice but abit more for the Sony or Panasnonics will net you much more in features and quality. 3d, more apps, app store etc.
Ordered, thanks OP!

The manual can be found here: home-entertainment.toshiba.co.uk/upl…pdf

Some of the reviews I've read say that the player can't play back MKV files, but the manual says these are supported. I guess I'll find out...
Ordered this morning. Thanks.
Excuse my ignorance, but apart from downloading firmware upgrades I am struggling to grasp any other benefits of having wi-fi on a blu-ray player!

netflix / love film instant streaming. facebook, skype, iplayer, 4OD etc

In fairness I'm struggling to justify buying a 3D wifi blu ray player for £80 when I could get a PS3 instead for all the above and more.
money monster

detailed review here. Suggests that Netflix is only for the US. Also no MKV playback but did play AVI, AVC HD, mp4

Yep, that's the review that's throwing me, as the manual does say that the player supports MKV...

My order was cancelled. However, it still shows up on the site as being in stock...

Same here :-( I did phone up and ask and they said that the stock levels shown aren't live and can take a day or so to be updated.

Not great for a big company like M&S. Oh well will keep looking for a decent bluray player.
b careful ref cinavia on 2012 bluray players or when firmware upgrading...
I think all bluray players now have Cinavia on, it's only a problem if you want to play copies if I'm right though.

I have ordered this again after getting my cancellation and it's due in store on Tuesday now
Just ordered, thank you
Hello,
I have bought this but cant work out how to stream video from my laptop to the blu-ray player. Is it through windows media center?

I reordered too, although I can't pick it up until Thursday. Hope all goes well!
its on any commercial media, so even if you make a backup/copy your own purchased stuff to your laptop and stream etc - its encoded as part fo the audio and will not play or will mute
Got John Lewis to price match, happy days
Looks like my second attempt at ordering went through okay, it's on the way to the store now.
Doesn't play 3d blu ray
ReflexReact

Doesn't play 3d blu ray

Well of course it won't...as...it's not a 3D Blu-Ray Player .

Wi-Fi 'n' ( as well as Ethernet ) is internally built-in on this model as it plays the iPlayer / YouTube and Picasa
