I'm no expert on these things, but it seems like a decent price for a camera that will take SD Cards.

Non-HD version is £75 at eBuyer.

The HD version is available at Pixmania for £106 however, so this might be typical price?

This is the HD model, which is £122.19 at eBuyer.

I hate it when companies show prices without VAT and don't make it explicit.

Bottom line seems to be that it seems ok for the money but not really good enough for putting on DVD and showing on your telly. Good price though so heat added. :-D

ebuyer's one it is not same model. Becareful with ebuyer, I have bought a laptop and i wasn't so sure if it was really a brand new one. But I didn't complain to them. so, just be careful with ebuyer.
The £75 one is not pro HD too. They have got another one' UK version' I guess it might be similar to this, but am not so sure.

Delete Order Care and it'll go down by £2.47+VAT

I have just returned mine to Pixmania at the beginning of the week, after having had a good play around.

My main issue was that while the resolution is 'HD' the reality is that the picture quality is awful, with the quality particularly bad in below-optimum light situations.

Basically, indoors using normal light, turned out very dark. Really it's only any good in bright, preferably natural light situations. Think of kids in garden during the afternoon.

Also, the camcorder felt very...plasticky - but that could just be me.

Not leaving cold, as it's a excellent price compared to other retailers. Just that I feel the technology needs a little more time to mature. I'm going back to the minidv camcorder to video the kids for now.

thank you very much, Valmiki. I was tempted to buy but after your comments. I am going to wait for the technology to mature.
