Anyone know what drives are in these?
are these any good? if anyone has one
I've got the 2tb one. No issues, other than the data cable port feels a little loose and the cable has come out without much of a tug, causing my PS4 to start scaring me with false data corruption/loss reports.

Any particular reason why this deal is linked to keywords "Huawei" and "smartphone" op?

Excuse my ignorance here - so I just add monitor, keyboard and windows plus any Microsoft package and I'm good to go? Looking for a PC for daughter to do school work. Thanks (from a technophobe!!)

It's not a computer, it is only external storage. You would typically purchase this if you needed additional storage for an existing laptop/desktop or to be able to make a backup of your files. Or, to connect to a games console to provide extra storage space. From what you have said, this isn't what you're looking for.
Ah that makes sense - even to me!! Thanks guys.
