Did you buy it from Amazon themselves or a marketplace seller or even worse Ebay?

reason why is because the write speed on this card is about 30mb/s, usually 65/s on Samsung or sandisk. The worse U3 card in the market but saying so it should just make it. Make a test and see if it does less than that, then it might be a fake one

Pc store chain
Yeah, unfortunately it's the slowest U3 card on the market. Considering the Samsung Evo is regularly around £16 that's a better choice if write speed is important.

put one of these in my new Moto G5S Plus and started formatting it as Internal memory. The phone stopped at 40% and warned me that the card was slow. The recommended cards are U1 not U3. Got myself a SanDisk 64GB Ultra Micro SD Card (SDXC) UHS-I A1 and that's fine. I think the A1 refers to compatability with mobile apps.

Any good for dashcam?
17.09 now. 😞
Good reliable card. Not the fastest but unless you're shooting 4K/60 or over 30Mbps, it's fine for most people who put a high value on card reliability and longevity.

That can happen with quite a few SD cards. Not sure why - quite possibly a quirk of Android or the phone. Format it to portable storage first, restart, then format it as internal memory.
