Nice bit of thread-spam. It's definitely easier than going to the trouble of posting a deal.

You like moaning don't you.
Tiptop spot & price @maple4
Its a decent card for this price. You will need to pay more for a faster card. U3 rating means it is suitable for most uses, but writing speed just barely meets 10mb/second so unlikely to be suitable for recording in 4k resolution.

For 4k recording Samsung Evo plus is ony £1 more.

does only comply with the U3 specifications, write speed is slow @ 30mb/s compared to sandisk extreme and Samsung+, their write speed is @ over 65mb/s

base.com/buy…9c2

Much better value than this one
but for extended use with a dash cam I would suggest the sandisk extreme, better for extended read/write but is more expensive
Hi All
you may want to check this forum I've had problems with Sandisk cards in Nextbase Dashcam ( but can apply to others )...

I got the Samsung and the sandisk extreme, they both do over 89 read and over 65 write tested on as ssd benchmark.

That’s incorrect. The 64gb card is U3 so will write at 30Mb/s which is enough for 4K recording. Bought one for my FZ330 for this purpose. Specs at link below.

I have had 2 fail. One used in media player in a car. The other was in a Nextbase dashcam

They can’t claim U3 with being able to achieve 30mb/s continuous.

Lexar 633x or Samsung Evo …Lexar 633x or Samsung Evo plushttps://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/64gb-samsung-evo-plus-u3-micro-sdxc-card-adapter-1799-picstop-2893038

For Dashcam use the lexar, for anything else they are as good as each other.

Real world speed tests: havecamerawilltravel.com/pho…ds/

There are many U1 cards much faster than this U3 one. Its still a good card if you can get it for the right price but there are better for not much more. At one time it was the best value card as it was significantly cheaper than the others. Not any more.

I'm not saying they aren't really U3 cards - tests show they do meet the requirements based on whatever tests they use, its just that many other cards are faster in every circumstances but are rated U1.
