Expansys is selling off the current Toshiba range of mobile phones (no doubt in advance of a new range from Toshiba).

The G710 is a basic but attractive Windows mobile phone. Ideal for someone who wants email on the go in an easy to use package, and access to the huge library of Windows mobile programs. Only real notable extra feature is GPS which would be useful for the business traveller.

These phones were originally £250, so a good deal.

Good balanced review:

Lol ... I posted this phone on a thread yesterday

Infact I've just noticed why this is so cheap

NO 3G / HSDPA
NO WiFi
Pretty slow CPU

But for the price it's still a good deal, but I wonder if spending just £20 - £30 more is a better idea to get something a bit more featured.

The next step us is really the motorola q9 (£130 - only 6 left) Nokia E63 at £179 (play). After that, the Nokia E71, HTC Snap, Samsung C6625 start getting much more expensive. £95 after discount is 32% cheaper then £130, so at this level it does count. The key is really how much the user needs web browsing, as EDGE is barely ok (only on O2 and Orange in the UK) and GPRS is painful, HSDPA is a big jump (3G less a jump from EDGE).

don't know why hotukdeals didn't highlight this as an expansys deal when I booked.
It normally does a good job of this
