Ha Ha:w00t:

I'm not going to vote this either hot or cold. Apparently the HD-DVDs are becoming collectors items

May as well get the Toshiba HD-EP30 HD DVD player with 2 HD films after quidco for £47.99 or with 5 (or 7) HD films for £67.19. Both deals are also available from play.com

To be honest, that's normal for a dead format, there are some rare LaserDiscs that were released towards the end in limited quantity that still sell for hundereds of dollars now.

hi all - I have this machine, it's a wee bit on the slow side to operate but the picture and sound for both hd material and dvds is top drawer... been hunting for region free firmware for this and the good news is there is one! Bad news is it's not free, a guy (hddvduser) on the dtvforum.info in Australia is selling it to the first 200 people who register interest (long story:whistling:) check it out if you are interested - would definitely make this player more of a consideration.

All the best

Berth:-D
