Model?

Looking at the Toshiba website, at a guess this might be a SD480EKTB?

I'll check my local store for details.

Taff

Popped into my local store in Braintree but no stock.

Sorry didnt take the model number down just remembered it was HDMI and DIVX but it does appear to be the same as that sold on Amazon for £48.37 and since on the toshiba website there is only one HDMI model its a fair assumption this is the one so £29.99 is a very good price, will be interesting to know if this is just local.

I think its closer to this one this one but still cheaper than anywhere else:-

The 3D Virtual Surround Sound is the same as that on the Sainsburys website. Scored 5 out of 5 in What Hi-Fi so must be decent and looks to be multi-region capable.

USB? or not

Does this have 5.1 audio outputs?

Thanks for posting nearly bought this in Asda yesterday, Not sure if it's the very same model. Same brand and price though. Will try and pick one up tomorrow if there's any left

If this is the one it isnt HDMI so worth getting the Sainsburys model for a few quid extra.

Bought this a month ago from Sainsbury's for £39.99. A very good player, specially as its got Divx playback too and plays various DVD+-RW formats. It has HDMI upscaling upto 1080p I think as well.
Bought this after having returned a DVD player bought from Maplin which wouldn't recognize certain DVD's.

Hi shanky911,

Does this player have a USB input for watching from a flash drive etc?

@Windhoek

It doesn't have a usb input, but even without it it's an exellent player, I bought one on Amazon about 8 months ago on a £30 special. Its never failed to play anything. And the upscaling is fantastic on my lcd.

Well worth the money.

Has anybody found any at that price? And if so, could anybody post the model name too?

thanks for the info springfield; alas I really need one with a USB input as I've got very limited space on the av rack.

I can confirm this is the Toshiba SD370E just purchased for £29.99 from Sainsburys, and better than the refurbished ones being advertised elsewhere for the same price.
