Bought one of these for a similar price from Tesco last week. Can't beat it for a 2TB portable HDD from a reputable brand.
any ideas what sort of drives are inside these ? Will they be Toshiba ?
Same from Tesco available for £49 with Clubcard Cardboost and free local collection
Available on Prime Now for me making it £39 and delivered tomorrow (two hour window starting at 8am). Nice.

£39 how did you get this price?
Any idea if this could be dismantled and used inside a PS4?

Toshiba are my worst Japanese brand. Everything I buy from them breaks prematurely from TVs, DVD players to laptops. Never touching them again.

You've probably used a similar code before. It only one code per account. Just sign up a new account and new free trial. Takes 10 mins.
Their own website has a number of very poor reviews of this...
Just hope its perfect because sending it back to amazon could get you banned by them. So paying very little tax a banning good customers nice company we have right here.
Be prepared for when the drive disconnects it self while transferring files
I bought one from tescos and I transferred 875gb of data from a 1tb toshiba canvio onto this and didn't experience any disconnections during the 3 hours it took to do so...

Working fine for me too (so far!)
They are matching Tesco`s price. This drive can be bought using clubcard boost, I got one earlier this week. No problems.

I got one from Tescos a few days back for the xbox one , for that price im happy with it - speeds seem nice and quick as well

It's a chipset problem with some motherboards. I have the 1TB version and I had to disable 'USB selective suspend setting' and 'USB 3 Link Power Management' in Power Options advanced settings.

The drive still powers down on its own but I have no problems with disconnections on both Windows 10 and OSX.

Been using one for months & never had any issues. Built quality isn't great - i don't think it would enjoy being dropped. Good price - especially with clubcard boost or the Amazon voucher code.
Apologies in advance... as this question is to be expected. But would this fit into my ps4?

Would this be suitable to use with an Xbox One?

No, see all the comments on the Tesco post...
Very good price. A month ago I bought a 1TB WD Passport for £47.
Been reliable and well built drives for me and have two bought a couple of yrs apart. Doesn't slide about like some drives.
No I haven't, I just joined prime like a week ago.
nice price but generally speaking I would stay away from toshiba gear

The Prime Now code only works if its being delivered to certain London postcodes

I've had the same one but in white, hooked up to my Xbox one for the past 8 months without any issues.
Might be a few answers in this thread thread, for people asking the same questions regarding PS4/Xbox one compatibility.

Yes it will.
This works with an xbox one for those asking, however bought one last time they were on offer from Argos and failed within 6 months - would avoid at all costs

I've got a 3TB canvio which I'm trying to use with a Netgear Nighthawk router using their ReadyCloud and ReadyShare software. It works fine and I can access files on the drive remotely when it's connected to the usb 3 port of the router, but sooner or later the drive will become unreachable and I have to power off/on the drive for it to be detected again, which isn't ideal if I'm not at home.
Bought the 500GB version for £25 and works straight out of the box with an xbox 360. Very good price

Seems a common problem but Toshiba give no help so i am trying what thelegendofmart says. Also i took it back to Tesco who said i have to ring there customer support and provide them with proof its faulty before i could be authorized to return them as faulty items.
I did explain to them i did not have a phone at home so she said i could have them tested by the phone guy in the shop but he was on his break.
But i couldn't wait around as school was more important than standing in Tesco for waiting for the phone guy.
