Take it easy pal, it's his/her first post.

Doesn't look like too bad a deal, added some heat.

For future posts though, the OP should be clearer in the title as this looks like 2 laptops for £259, which it clearly isn't.

is it buy one get one free?

Offer available in stores as well.
The Core I3 one is a good deal.

£319 seems like a bargain to me, that's £60 cheaper than Amazon.

Not sure why it's -10 degrees?

Op is alright, she might just be confused

where is realblender these days?? havnt seen his comments from last couple of laptop deals

is the i3 Sandybridge?

Interesting. I couldn't find a similar model to the Toshiba Satellite C660D-1C6 but the spec reads like a netbook with a larger screen, moderately heavy but welcome six cell battery and Window 7 Home Edition, not a great CPU, certainly, but the built in graphics can handle basic games - and, anyway, it seems churlish to complain at the price. Hot.

You can pick up the Toshiba Satellite Pro C660-21C, which appears to have a similar or the same spec to theToshiba Satellite C660-21Z, for £339 from saveonlaptops. The spec is a little dated but pretty warm, especially if you can find it in store.

is the i3 Sandybridge?

It's a Core i3-370M, which predates Sandybridge.

also quidco or topcashback.

My elderly parents are looking for a new laptop. They don't play the kind of games that require a card but they do use skype, surf the web, save hundreds of photos and use the basic MS software. Reliability is key.
They also don't often take it anywhere where it can't be plugged in. Generally it'll sit on a coffee table!

Is the £319 Tosh a good buy? Could they get something cheaper or should they look instead at the £400 mark - perhaps a Dell 15R or the Packard Bell TS11HR039?
By the way, if they bought the Tosh through quidco how much would they save?

when did they join?

What odds does it make to you? The point is that you need to stop being a moron.

good deal, its not gone hot because most people on here dont know the value of laptops, i.e they want i7s at netbook prices.

Just back in stock, AMD dual core for £249 (after Quidco) great deal when you compare to what Argos, Debenhams and BHS are offering (single core for more money).

Great deal - just ordered the £259 one. Hopefully Quidco should be about £12 so £247 is not bad at all. Cheers OP - well spotted.

Does this deal definitely finish on the 30th November? I want to get a laptop for my partner for christmas and one of either of these would be excellent, thanks to the OP for posting this up.

Anyone know how to use Irish Credit Card to buy on ASDA Direct.....requires UK Billing address for Store Collection....there is ASDA just about 30 miles from me??

Genuine question folks!!

I bought the £319, they charged me for it and sent the £259 one, now I have returned it I have to wait 10 days for the right one to arrive Still it will hopefully be here by crimbo...

These things have horrible keyboards and mouse buttons are pretty awful too. The build quality is poor to say the least.

toshiba laptops are fine - i've thrown my around a bit at uni for a few years and it worked fine!

I bought the £259.00 one in store, so far, for what we need it for - internet, email, homework, bit of music, the odd film... it's earning it's money perfectly, cheers OP for the post, very much appreciated. we bought the 314.67 (14.67 quid, pound sign isn't showing?) logitech speakers from Currys to go with it and it's all worked out brill up to now. (I went looking for a laptop after our 6 year old medion desktop died on its a*** last week (well done medion)).

He's recuperating at a Tesco stress clinic deep in a lithuanian forest.

The Tesco £20 deal really took it out of him, discovering that so many people were taking advantage of a struggling business like Tesco by legitimately using a offer to save a few pounds he pleaded with people not to start down the path of criminality but they ignored him and many went on to save and threatened the stores billion pound profits.
