The MK2555GSX 2.5-inch hard disk drive series offers up to one half-terabyte in capacity with quiet acoustics and enhanced durability, providing a solid storage solution for high-capacity mobile PCs, game consoles, printers and external storage. Advanced servo techniques combined with mechanical design changes minimize noise emanating from the MKxx55GSX drives, making them nearly inaudible during operation.
Further design optimizations have boosted the durability of the MK2555GSX series to provide industry-leading robustness against operating shock. An optional free-fall sensor (FFS) feature further protects user data against potentially hazardous external shock and vibration events.

Cheapest 250GB 2.5" drive about. I know about the 640GB drive for £45 but not everyone needs that size of drive

Remember to back up your game data from the XMB / Game / Game Data Utility etc onto something external like a hard drive or something.

The amount of people ive seen who have attempted to upgrade and then freaked cause they lost all their data or forgot to transfer etc is astonishing.
Only trophies are stored online... everything else like cars or modes unlocked are stored on the hard drive... back these all up.

This is a very useful guide - uk.gamespot.com/fea…tml

Also, make sure you use the correct screwdriver cause if you don't, you will **** the thing beyond repair

I allready messed up the blue screw by using the wrong screwdriver head when replacing the 40GB hard drive when it failed

Have to use pliers to twist it now!

Good price, poor value. If you need 250GB then there is a good chance that you will need more before too long. However I have 16TB of media storage so I might be biased!

Good offer for someone wanting to replacement their laptop HDD, like me! Cheers.
