Hmmm have read the REVIEW on this HDD. It seem like the read/write speed is fast as compared to other NAS ready HDD. The price is cheaper than WD and Seagate too.

ok I'll take the price than the seagate comment back lol. I have not problem with ebuyer.
I have around a dozen Tosh dives of various size; the oldest is around 5-6 years old (at a guess); so far not one has had any issues, or bad sectors.
Internally they all say they are Hitachi, who have by far the best reliability of the few remaining drive makers.

The shape of the metal cover looks different to the hgst 8tb NAS drives.
Toshiba and HGST have not produced the dogs of hard drives that Seagate and Western Digital have in the last few years. You get a more consistent reliable product. These are pretty fast as well.

I don't have a problem with ebuyer. My problem is with Seagate, having more than a few fail on me. None of my HGSTs have failed.
"Bulk", I assume that means they'll slip it into a DVD case cardboard wrapper and send it in the post. Hard drives need MUCH more care than that in the delivery system. Avoid!
