Just got one of these and it'll be £187.54 by the time Toshiba and Quidco have coughed up. And that's for a pretty good unit.

No Bluetooth on this?

No Bluetooth on this?

Mini dongle will get round that easy enough without sticking out too much for pennies (Dealextreme or elsewhere), the main drawback I can see is upgrading of RAM means chucking out the original 1Gb stick, and replacing it with a 2Gb one, so that works out a bit dearer than it could be; Oh, and it's Dabs, which is not quite my favourite retailer(!)

Other than those minor points, looks pretty good for the money, if a Netbook is what you want, and can put up with the slow speed for the convenience of the tiny size.

[FONT=Verdana]Mmm, decent deal especially with the additional battery power and a decent price IF the cashback comes through from Toshiba.

Cheers, Scotty Boy!

Be very careful with cashback from Toshiba, lots of people are having trouble getting their £100 LCD TV cashback the other month. There are numerous message board posts concerning this.

I received £150 cheque from Toshiba within 2 weeks since applying (I was buying laptop + accessories) . Read the T&C carefully and do exactly you have been asked to do.

People have read the T & C, but they are not paying out. I filled all my details in correctly and in time, sent it off with my invoice. It has now been 2 months and still nothing, some people i think even longer. They state cash back will be paid back with in 28 days.
Phone them every 3/4 days to chase it up but everyone keeps getting lied to.
I phoned them last Tuesday to ask where is my cheque and they said it had been posted out today (Tuesday), this morning still not got anything. Phoned them today to ask again and i was told it was posted last Monday, when i said you told me Tuesday last week, the woman didn't know what to say.... make it up as they go along. Some people are getting in touch with watchdog i believe.

argos had a few msi winds which are nearly the same with bluetooth but only a 3 cell battery for £199 cash price without all the faffing around.

Aslo available at laptops direct etc, and they have a memory upgrade offer if you phone.

Anyone know how this compares to Samsung NC10?

...or how it compares to the ASUS EeePc 1005HA with 6 cell battery, also at laptops direct for £229.97? Which is best?

I Bought this in September for studying and been great for £349. It has got bluetooth but not same time as wireless. Has got enough memory for word documents so far and 100% pleased with my purchase.

Just a heads up to say that this is still available with the £50 cashback from Ebuyer, bringing it down to £195.36 - I ordered one for the missus yesterday, free super-saver delivery, and it has just arrived on next-day delivery!

Mine shipped from Dabs today, should arrive Thursday.

That's excellent if you don't have a Quidco account. If you do though, the Dabs deal is still better at £187.54 after the 4% and Toshiba's £50.

Has anyone got cashback yet?

Yes, got mine this morning exactly 28 days after claiming.

this offer is still on
