I don't think these "bulk" drives have any warranty with Toshiba - only the retail boxed versions have a 2 year warranty with Toshiba.
great find:) ordered!!: ) Heat added:)
A tad expensive for me at £23 per TB.
What's the difference between these and the WD Red drives? I paid £87 for an Amazon Warehouse version for my HP Gen8 Microserver but figure I should upgrade to four drives as I only have the one drive inside it and dont want to lose my data should the HDD fail.
Are these drives noisy POS? WD Black may be fast but the noise will drive u crazy if u like a quiet PC. I'd like to know how these compare in terms of sounds...

These are mainstream desktop drives that operate at 7200RPM, not cool and quite like WD Reds. They're comparable to the old WD Blues (not the newer ones - which are actually rebranded Greens).

Is it now acceptable to buy HDD's from Amazon? I thought they had a bad reputation for sending drives out in poor packaging that got bashed around and subsequently had a high failure rate. Has this situation changed?

This is by far the cheapest 3TB drive out there. But you know, no one can fix you being a cheap f***.
