was gutted to miss the £299 deal (i know just £10 more ) but this is definitely the best price anywhere yet.

the price tag definitely puts this in the 'budget' bracket but solid manufacturer and reputable retailer and good reviews

ordered.

Seems quite good at least on paper... A very nice price to boot!

Toshiba still not publishing energy usage figures. That's a pity because I would not buy this tv, usage maybe be high, which in the end make this tv expensive. Not voting.

yet another tree hugger , usage may also be low!:whistling:

Was looking at this tv this afternoon. Need a nice LCD for the bedroom, can't make my mind up whether to wait for a 32" 1080p set for around £350, or just go for this one. Mainly be used for playing movies (SD and HD), and a bit of 360.... Any thoughts?

This TV has had a lot of good reviews take a look:

amazon.co.uk/Tos…46/

Also look it up on Cnet.co.uk Reviews section were it was given a 8/10.

Would advise this one for a extra £50 and that its the latest model you cant go wrong. PS I have been looking for a new 32" for the same reason for 2 weeks now, on the net and at the shops, the best one I have come across thus far, and will be placing a order for it tomorrow!

I have more or less the same TV in my bedroom (albeit a bit older - 32AV504DB) that I bought just over a year ago for £399 and I have to say that it has been one of the best purchases I have made. It gets used mainly for my xbox 360 and watching dvds, but it does have built in freeview should I decide to watch any TV. Super deal.

Nice Price, Good quality picture and sound on Toshiba LCD's and Amazon's customer service is faultless:-D

£298.99 now :s

you linked a 32RV635DB thats £399 (extra £101 :p)

an extra £50 will get you the 32AV635DB and as far as I can tell the only difference is the full HD on the RV35 compared to the AV35

they all look a solid spec for that price range tbf but considering the generic red, elonex brands etc are cose to that 299 mark a Toshiba 32 is defo a win

Great tv for the price. I got one last week for £299.99. My only complaint is the EPG on freeview. The tv changes to the channel you are looking up the listings for which is very annoying if you want to find out whats on whilst watching another programme! This for me is a minor issue as I am with sky but if I wasn't it would put me off buying this tv.

Has anyone got this used it with a 360 or a ps3 ?? I got delivery last week but when I use 1080i resolution on either console I get a strange flickering, the screen will just got blank for a second every so often and come back on straight away. Just does it at random intervals, could do it 10 times in a minute, could be fine for 20 minutes... When I use 720p everything is fine, so I'm guessing this is a fault with the tv? Could anyone post with experience of using a console at 1080i on this model.

Thanks

ps before anyone asks yes I am setting to 1080i not 1080p, I know the tv doesn't support that

768p (as opposed to 1080i) is the better resolution for most ps3 games anyways.

I take it you mean 720p, and I don't doubt that. BUT,if the tv is supposed to be able to do 1080i no problems, and it can't, surely I want to be getting a replacement! Same also happens for movies and the like which are better in 1080i.....

Heat from me. Looks a good price

What a moronic thing to post. The energy usage will at be worst average for an LCD, it's Toshiba, one of the best electronics manufacturers in the world!

As for "expensive" to run? Even a high energy LCD costs pittance ocmpared to an old LCD, and is usually half or less than a plasma. Think before posting.
