Hot deal. End of.

Just bought this TV - very nice - picture good, very light and slim (especially compared to my old Hannspree). Only very small downside is when you scroll the channel list the channel changes as you scroll - not a major problem. Definitely recommended.

I paid £299 from Dixons which should also earn 2.5% Quidco.

Any good for xbox 360 connected via HDMI?

Is this a nationwide deal?

at Dell its £300 + quidco or topcashback, but delivery is 1-2 weeks

I saw this for £265 on special in ASDA this week. Great price but as we were looking for the bedroom, this was too big.

Pitifully poor advice....

I'm not going down the lines of the old plasma vs lcd debate... Having said that though I looked at LCD's & Plasmas when considering my next purchase and for SD signals and HD by enlarge I found the black levels comparable and the display superior with the LCD's.

Oh... maybe I am going down the old Plasma LCD debate route... sorry

These Toshiba jobbies do a first rate job with SD pictures too...

Dont listen to fanboys. HOT!

How does this compare to the LG 32LH2000?

Black on my LCD looks like black to me & greys look... well... errrrm.... grey:?

Theres a big wide world out there, why not pop out & get a life:thumbsup:

I had a 37" Regza that went tips up after two years.Good luck.

Off topic I know but does anyone actually know the relative power consumption of LCD versus plasma as I've heard way stupid numbers like 6 times (plasma more than LCD) etc.

I'm doing total cost ownership so if one was costing an extra unit or two of electric a day (say 25p) then that would be £91.25 a year or over £450 during a 5 year life cycle. Makes you think no ?

does anyone know how to take the stand off so i can wall mount it?

does this come with any sort of warranty?

supermod

Bristle Hound, we've had a report that this item is selling nationwide at Asda for £345 so we've added the specific store details to the deal title where it is on offer for £297.

If any other members can confirm it's available at the offer price at other Asda stores we can amend the title again accordingly, thanks

I was in a TV shop the other day and the guy told me that Plasmas use 40-50% more power than lcd's but the plasma picture quality is superior on both SD and HD viewing and also much better viewing angles.

bought this one or similar model for £440 2 years and 3 months ago (with 5 year warranty).

Great TV. If you can, try and get it with a long warranty from JL or Richer Sounds.
