I now it is a pre-order but seems to have a very good spec for the price

Doesn't look anything great to me, for 700 pounds there are much better specced machines around.

Not sure.
I've been eyeing up the high end P300's (Intel core2duo not amd) and they're coming out at £799 (and thats RRP), i used to be into AMD but find myself firmly in the intel camp recently....

I haven't voted either way, though it seems a whole lot of cash for 1hr 10 min battery and onboard graphics!

Edit: Just read over the spec - both Intel onboard and a Radeon 3650, on an AMD chip...methinks Play stuffed up with the Intel bit.

Sorry LUFC, this is a chilly cold one

It's not a lot of spec for quite a lot of cash.

Yeah, I think from Toshiba's website it should be the discrete ATI 3650. But I have a feeling this may be one of the new puma AMD laptops, where there will be an ATI 3200 onboard graphics chipset as standard, which works with the discrete graphics chip. A bit like how crossfire works on desktop PCs, only in a smaller way.

I might not be right though.

for £700 i would buy a Sony Vaio.
