HEAT!

Brilliant price for a 4th gen Tosh, good build quality, easy to use and looks the part ;-)

* Note: ignore all the silly reviews and whining about this running *slow* on Windows 10! Just download
the full Microsoft 10 current ISO, burn it to a USB, install it using the licence # on the bottom of the tosh
and she will fly.. at the same time, you get shot of all the crap bloatware and rubbish trial softwares that
you do not need and will not use!

Will not be around long at this price, so if you are looking to get a decent bit
of hardware for not a lot of £, this could be it!
thanks for the comments, am looking for a laptop and this seemed a good deal, knew I would get an informed view on here, will go for it

Thanks for posting it Phil ;-)

If you do go down the *clean start* route above, the only thing you *might* need is the Tosh
Audio Enhancement driver, but most of the time after it has been *connected* for a few days
it will find the drivers via the MS update script built into windows.

brilliant, will follow this advice - thanks again
no ssd drive cold !
Thanks for everyones input so far. Useful comments.

How's this compare (other than obvious face value spec for spec like more HD) to this Toshiba @ Tesco?

tesco.com/dir…691

Been looking at prices for a decent basic laptop since Christmas for the missus slightly higher than thos spec but over the past month they seem to be increasing in price (I presume so shops can drop prices then claim a Sale around Easter time).

Last month I could have gotten this spec Toshiba for around the £200/ £220 mark anyway. Could have gotten a 1tb drive with 8gb RAM, A10 processor etc for around this "price drop" price.

Damn good price for an excellent looking lappy, but I need one with full HD
Neither hot or cold. Just average but I do like the look of the laptop. What i don't like is the 750gb hdd which should be at 1TB and also the 4gb ram is not so appealing and 8gb preferable since most of that 4gb is taken up by Windows leaving not much for other apps before paging kicks in. I would say hold off and get a better deal like £200 for i3 4th/5th gen, 1TB HDD and min. 4gb RAM. No one should expect full HD screen at this price range or a SSD but given a chance I wouldn't hesistate to swap the hdd for one.

must admit fancied 1Tb and 8Gb but have struggled to find that at this price - cheapest I could find was £80 more as the Tesco deals seemed to sell out so quickly
Looks good (voted hot) but its white! Is there a black option for same price?
All gone now
Aw man i need a laptop as well, this was right in my budget! missed out!:(
looking for a laptop for word and internet.
