Sorted
Thanks Big Buzzz
This one costs 110£ more than the 250£ lenovo deal of the other day and it beats it only in the processor department (maybe design) while it has half size ram and hdd...

I have to vote cold on this... This i5 is really not worth it for this much money...

Agree with you! Do you mean the Lenovo G50-70 ? Lenovo G series are heavy and big sizes.. I don't like it
The problem with comparing this to the Lenovo deal is you have to buy a Lenovo. They have done some unforgivable stuff lately, probably why they can afford to sell products so cheap. If you value your privacy and security you should avoid them.
link anyone?

My problem is not with software, that can be removed. Hardware is just crap quality and as previously pointed out any repairs need to go to Germany and will take weeks. Over the years I have had many many laptops and the latest Lenovo I purchased is just so poor build quality it will be my last.

I was just giving an example and that is the most recent one I noticed, I didn't vote hot even on that lenovo deal. You can get an equivalent hp or dell around these prices usually...
The newer generation Intel Core i5-5200U in the Toshiba has a maximum turbo frequency of 2.7 GHz, as compared to the Lenovo's older Intel Core i3 at 1.7 GHz. The i5-5200U has incrementally faster HD 5500 graphics, as compared to HD 4400. The i5-5200U's lithography is 14nanometers compared to 22 nm; depending on the number of cells in the battery, you might get longer battery life between charges. The possible disadvantage is that this is a Toshiba; at the risk of generalisation between different models and production run batches, Toshiba and HP generally have scored less well based on build and RMA than some, so I find it harder to rank them in value than some. The screen resolution is predictable at the price, isn't it!
