Decent price for the laptop. If the printer is free it will almost certainly be expensive ink. Free internet security is pointless now that MS Security Essentials is available free of charge and the McAfee software will bug you after a year for payment.
celerons are not great
which printer ? and how do you purchase it ?
Go on argos main page says free printer guess u just pick up I'm store or order online and it comes with it
I can't see any mention of a free printer either.
Only half price office
Click on hot deals see all then its there
just says free printer .. no details. And to be honest its nots a good spec even for £300. Now if it was 250 then yes it is..

Crappy graphics are not justifiable in this day and age.
i would never buy a laptop just because free stuff makes it look a great deal and also try to lookat more than ram and hard drive when buying a laptop, these stupid pc world adverts makes people think thats the only things that matter.
Hmmm celeron. Would rather get a dell 15r for the same money with an I3 processor. Ok it will have less ram but ram is seriously cheap for ddr3 at the moment.
Ok, so we are talking about a Toshiba, my wife had one for over four years and never had a problem with it. Celeron dual core is not bad for a laptop at all, a 500 gb Hard drive is very good and not to mention 4 Gb of DDR3 memory, it will be, again, very fast. Obviously you will not buy this laptop to play the latest games, but it does have a decent graphics and resolution. We are talking here about a Toshiba laptop with very decent specs. for only £299, I say Hot.
The free printer is i the list of offers but it states "Free inkjet printer included when you buy this laptop. Please note offer is Online only. Offer ends 31 August 2011. "

So if you reserve it to be picked up instore you don't get the free printer and unfortunately there are none available for delivery so you can't buy it online either ....... bit of a swiz really isn't it?
Celeron = fail, even at this price
The free printer is a HP Deskjet 1000 Inkjet Printer:
You get Mcaffee free for a year full version:

It is a very good deal, I bought one yesterday for my wife, it was £449.99, and you save a total of £50 worth in freebies with the printer and the antivirus.

maskerade34 You can reserve on-line and pick up in the store, you get the same deal, just make sure you remind the cashier when picking your reservation in the store.

Available to buy online again today, ordered for Son's birthday, I never got a laptop when I was his age !!!! LOL
Back in stock after being sold out this afternoon. I got told they was only getting 170 delivered.

Ive got a old Toshiba sat lappy and love it. Hence now upgrading.
I wouldn't buy a Toshiba if I was paid!

I sell these to schools and councils (as they are cheap and nasty) and the reason why Toshiba have these on offer as they have brought out a new line. Also these have the highest return rate then any other laptop!

Top spec Toshibas are great laptops, the bottom spec are s**t!!! Like this one!
Well, I must say the one we bought three days ago is gone back to Argos, Hard drive died!!!
So we went and bought a Samsung. All my trust in Toshiba has died.
