looks good for the money, do I really need one though.........hot for me.

the touch pad is really annoying in this laptop. not sure if there's a way to make it more responsive. Other than this, it's a very good laptop.

Can this play wow for my daughter and erm football manager for me?

was interested in this the other day but read quite a few reviews where people are saying it has a major trackpad issue with windows 8 so put me off, shame as it would have suited me well.

Bought the black version for 151 and another one for 189 argos outlet, I don't recommend it...send both back, problems with loading windows, screen flickerink, if you want wifi you need to stay near the router 1m something like tget, better add 50£ extra and buy something better, just my opinion!

I think that the trackpad issue was caused by a Microsoft driver being installed from Windows update.

Rolling back to Toshiba's own driver seemed to fix the issue.

bought the white one last month when someone else highlighted the deal on here.

Really nice laptop overall.

Although the sceen does feel a little flimsy and the trackpad does fail to work periodically. However, I use a mouse anyway, so no issues there for me.

the processor speed worries me..is it fast?

Got one from last deal and no problems with trackpad or win8 and wifi is fine on mine. The only problem I had that need to sent back first one due to flickering screen but second one is perfect and worth the price(bought with 10% off coupon)

I also got one of these the last time it was on sale and havent had problems with the trackpad or Windows 8 at all. My only comment is that the screen isnt the best - not as sharp as I'd like it - but then I use a very high spec monitor at work so I may have been spoiled!

Good price, voted hot.

not a bad price for the spec....

Not had a problem with the white one from last deal.

I'd like to know this too if anyone has experience. I've played wow on a HD3000 card and it plays ok on fair settings. Logic suggests 4400 should be at least that good.

Generally though, ac wireless is great, 2 USB3 ports, good deal. Why they put ac wireless and a 5400rpm hard drive together though is beyond me. An SSD would be a good upgrade.

Hi,
I also bought this laptop in the last deal on here. It arrived in almost pristine condition (1 small scratch on lid which is hardly noticeable as laptop is white). However, there was no way I could get the wi fi signal unless sitting on top of the router, so back it went. It was collected on the Tuesday and was returned on the Friday with a repair sheet, stating that they had 're-seated the wi fi antenna' Up to now, it is working a treat all over the house, its fast and for the money, I think it was a good deal. Hopefully, I haven't spoken too soon.

don't be put off by trackpad issue. get a wireless mouse for a tenner. I have this laptop. it is OK.

Here is my experience with this deal:

I was so excited to give this laptop as present, it turns out that some **** **** at Argos switched it. What actually arrived was a terrible spec Toshiba satellite c50d-b-120, google it, yup its that bad.

Oh and the best thing is, Argos is making me wait a week for the laptop.

i just got one of these and the screen flickers and flickers..i think my units faulty. Emailed argos and got told they won't repair it I have to get a refund thats it
