Saw this posted a few days ago, I don't want to steal the OP's thunder but the original deal expired but they are back in stock now.
Ordered one for the Mrs, going to to sell the 1TB HDD and stick an SSD in there.

One of the cheapest laptops I can see with the Broadwell Cpu.

Thanks for your deal. I've added the price and merchant to your title for you

No good?

Hi is this better than Mc Book Air? I know it is a silly question but basically I have a Mc Book Air and I find it has very limited space and I don't like the system that much so I want to sell it and get a good laptop. Please advise. Thanks

Similar spec but larger HDD. So if storage space is the main issue you are having then you should be fine with this.

research the prices of used MBA's before you sell yours though as they hold there value you well, don't sell it too cheap.

Out of stock

I ordered a brand new Toshiba S50-15-n the other day. Worked absolutely fine for a few days, fast as lightning! Then all of a sudden it went into " Disk repair mode ". Turns out there was bad sectors on the SSD. I know this isn't the same Model, but my confidence in Toshiba has gone.

I have one of these winging it's way to me as i type.
Sub £300 for a 5th gen i5 processor, as the op says stick a ssd in it & it should fly!

Mine arrived today. Was like brand new condition you could not tell the difference.

Few minor issues though, had a stuck pixel, thankfully I was able to get rid of it by applying some pressure on the screen with a pen wrapped in cloth.
The other strange issue I did have was every now and then when moving the laptop or tilting the screen it would go on and off, like a blink, seemed to me like the cable was loose that was connected to the screen, removed the battery, drained all the power, sort of pushed down on where the cable would be and ever since it seems to be fine. Going to put and ssd in it today and go back down to windows 7 and see how it goes. If the screen blinking problem comes back will have to send it back. Let me know how yours is.

Instead of rolling back to windows 7, wait a few more days and windows 10 is out. I have been using the preview versions and seems good. There again anything is better than windows 8 / 8.1
