Don't like the Windows 8 bit, but everything else looks great!
Not a good enough spec for the price....and awful brand

Cant you downgrade for free?
Graphics lets it down (like most other low-end laptops) so I really cant see why an I5 processor has been bundled with sh*tty integrated shared gfx.
Add £20 more and you get Asus corei7 laptop

Look, I'm not going to imply that you're an ignorant fanboi with an axe to grind - that would be rude - but in the course of my job I've bought endless laptops from every conceivable manufacturer, and whilst I don't actively hunt for Toshiba laptops, I wouldn't avoid them either. They tend to be decent workhorses. If you don't think it's good enough spec for the price, you can always post your own offering, and see how it's received - but this does, to be fair, involve a little more effort than simply posting worthless, snarky comments on other people's deals. Not that I'm suggesting you're posting worthless, snarky comments. That would be rude.

As for the complaints about the GPU (118luke) - if you're gaming on a laptop, you've already failed too hard to have your opinion counted. If you're not gaming, and mainly want the processing horsepower for work-related tasks (with maybe the odd HD vid or low-rent game thrown in on the off hours), this will do the business.

And yes - you have downgrade rights.

Decent laptop for the price.

Good find.
The Dell deal last week was better than this for me. It was £64 more but you got 6 GB RAM + 1080p screen + 2 GB graphics card

Just tried to purchse, even though it says 1 left in stock it is now out of stock.

Nice to see someone saying that gaming on laptops is not what they are intended for, every single laptop deal ends up in 10 posts about the graphics which "is not good enough for one or two particular game".

HEAR HEAR! Boy just got owned.

Nowt wrong with Toshiba. I've bought 100s and they are far from being the worst. I even seek them out as in my experience, which is vast ;), they go forever. Good deal.

Everything ive read says you can downgrade but ONLY if you have windows 8 PRO version which this one doesnt have.
Would love to hear different as ive had windows 8 on my new dell laptop and ditched it after 1 day !!
Absolutely awful OS in my humble opinion and having paid for it we should be allowed some right to another older OS.

Spoke to dell sales support. He tells me I will have to install windows 7 myself if I wanted reckon it will be same here.
Sold out unfortunately, was the perfect laptop for a friend of mine, shame!
