12TB drive, brand new BUT very limited warranty/returns, as it's part of Amazon Global.

CamelCamelCamel: uk.camelcamelcamel.com/Tos…rch

Currently lists cheapest at £364 and this is £290 including delivery

Basically it's not bad for a 12TB drive for NAS setup etc.,
Before people say they'd rather have 2x6TB - this is for those of us with heavy data storage requirements e.g. 4x12TB in raid. Also raid isn't data backup.. make backups!

I store all my backups on floppy disks.

Only need 9 million of them.
Is this known as putting all ur megs in one basket?

Good idea. 12TB of data is a lot to lose if one goes bad.
I suppose it's hot but want's one of these?

'gaming hard drive'? It's a proven fact that SSD provides only a very minimal increase over normal SATA drives. I love gimmicks

I remember installing lotus 123 using about 30 floppy disks.

I was only a wean then though.

I'd be amazed if this is a 12TB SSD at this price.

True, but is 2x6TB drives in a box.

If we're going to split hairs, then you could look at a Seagate 6TB USB drive for £79.99 and just pick up two :P

The X300 is definitely spinning 3.5" disk.

I think they just call it "performance and gaming" as it's a 7200rpm drive, compared to WD Greens and the like. Still not a patch on a SSD though, but you'll struggle to get anything competitively priced above 2TB there

SSDs over-rated everyone! You heard it here first, proven FACT.

Ditch your SSDs people. They’re just Gimmicks. 7200RPM is where it’s at.

I'm looking for a 5400rpm drive. 7200rpm is over-rated.
