Seems to be the cheapest price anywhere at the moment for a 7200rpm 6TB drive from a reputable maker.

Who is a disreputable maker of 6TB drives?
Some people randomly dislike certain manufacturers e.g. WD, Seagate as they have had 176 of their drives fail on them in the last year yada yada yada. But I have the impression that people don't grouch about Toshiba just so much.

Good price, below my £25/TB bite point. Warranty's only 2 years though.

4TB+ drives are generally decent across the board; I remember latest stats showing Seagate were still the worst but the result wasn't especially representative due to sample size.

The N300 8TB is £205.
It's become a mine field when ordering.

You have to dodge the 2yr cover, the 3yr cover, the prime trial and then the delivery cost.
I got an email today from Amazon for hard disks.

It has the X300 6TB at £188.52, down from £232.99

Voted hot.
Bought mine in 2016 (£152), no complaints. It's pretty quiet and read/writes are far quicker than my other mechanicals (Samsung F3/F4's).
I only buy Toshiba mechs. now.
Not bad.. but still not as good as the 5tb canvio for £100 ebuyer was doing. Wish I bought two! They seemed to have increased in price.
