Doug Quaid (Arnold Schwarzenegger), a happily married construction worker living in the year 2084, is haunted by a recurrent dream in which he is living with a woman on Mars. Rekall Incorporated offer him the chance to live out his dream through a microchip which implants any memories their client desires into their brain. But something goes wrong during the installation of Quaid's memories of a trip to Mars and soon he lands up on the planet for real, unsure of his true identity and pursued by a gang out for his blood. He teams up with a group of resistance fighters to uncover a mystery which leads to the highest echelons of the planet's government.

Cheese?! This films great!
The deal is not for the Ultimate Rekall Edition which is the triple play version. This is just the standard release prior to that.
I think you'll find this is the Ultimate Rekall Edition released 24/12/12.

Hope this includes Arnold's commentary! You might have trouble following the plot otherwise.

Wrong. It's the same version with new transfer - just single disc. It was only released a couple of wks ago!

I take it back. You're right. They've changed the artwork back to the original single disc version.

Hope it's not ultimate edition as I just bought the single disc there for same price.
doesn't really require blu-ray this movie
Bought this in-store yesterday.
Just to confuse everyone even further the Sainsburys web page for this product features images from the remake version of the movie!
Ordered. Many thanks.
Bargain!!

I met at Arnie in Waterstones London last October and got my Total Recall book signed.

"Don't be ridiculous!"
Great movie.

The remake is really good too.

But Arnie wins. There's just so much to love about this version.

on the contrary. the dvd versions have always looked washed out colour-wise. even the first bluray was nothing special. this edition is leaps and bounds above any previous version

An awesome movie doesn't deserve to be seen as close to the source material as possible?

You probably think old classic movies don't need to be on blu ray either?
Heard this is way better than the latest one thats been released but I couldn't watch this, saw the trailer and the tech is so dated! Seems a good deal though
if you own the 3 disc blu ray set, with this, raw deal and red heat, you may want to give this a miss?i reckon it looks exactly the same print even though it says newly enhanced
Get your **** to...Sainsburys!

Read the review... 5 stars for video and audio, you don't see that much for a film that's been messed up on nearly every previous release!

Half of my orders with Sainsbury's get knocked back with an email saying they've not been able to take the money. I'm certain it's their way of saying they don't have the thing to send out..

Just a warning, this is locked to region B, which won't be a problem for 95% of you. Because most titles are region free it's easy to forget to check before you buy, as I did.

Emailed sainsburys who sent a stock response back with frequent reasons why cards are declined. None of which apply. Still can't buy this blooming bluray. Awaiting another response.
Turns out they updated their address verification process and it has caused some problems. Just got it in store instead as was near. Cool story, bro.
