Other than 10% at Coop food - which seems overpriced compared to other outlets- they are not offering a lot for 30£.

No you don't.

Send a picture of this card and it's straight onto student prime.
Am I right in thinking the saving on the amazon prime membership on year 1 would pay this back?

Year 2 and 3 prime memberships also save therefore profit.

Plus any shopping at coop is 10% off which will add up

Not quite true as there is a link to upload a student card scan underneath if you don't have an ac.uk email. I've had NUS/Totem for 6 years now, my mother has one also, she turns 70 next year. I think she's studying cyber security with e-careers.

Not using, but voted heat for sale of all "students" around UK.

Depends what shops you use, for me it pays for itself many times over!

I was thinking the same. It's the main thing that's tempting me so if that doesn't work....
can anyone confirm this will work for amazon prime

I just sent them a picture of the card. Nothing else required
I have all the student platforms, you just need to send a picture of the card for Amazon. Worth its weight in gold.
Can someone tell me the difference between the 11 and 26 one.
Do you get two cards with 26 one? For photo ID

Tried to use this card at museums abroad to get student pricing but a lot of places refuse to accept it because the Pro version doesn't actually have the word student anywhere on it. I am actually studying a professional qualification so was a bit annoying.

They made me do this, but it was years ago. They only let you be a student for 4 years then no matter what proof you have they say tough!

May open a new account....
I have an ac email, so no problem getting Prime, is this still worth getting, and how does it compare to a NUS, sorry, all new to this malarky.

I’ve got the same issue , actually entitled to the card due to ongoing work qualifications, last years card had the international student ID on the back , the 3 year pro card doesn’t which I may have missed when I renewed mine last month, but it’s a pain in the proverbial.

Do you mean the ordinary totum/NUS card or this PRO one? Which do you have? If you don't mind me asking

So don't renew the 3 year one? Renew yearly maybe?

Well your not making a profit are you now. It's a discount.

10% off at various other high street retailers too:
Boots
Superdrug
Peacocks (often 20% on special days too)
Dorothy Perkins / Outfit
New Look
Gap
Just to mention a few

Not forgetting your free cheeseburger, chicken Mayo or mcflurry etc with a McDonald's meal, if you're that way inclined

I've easily saved £30 within my first few months so it pays for itself in the long term
NUS has been blown out of the water in the last 10 years by UNIdays and StudentBeans.
The Co-Op discount is the only thing worth having this for if you're a student (10% off and another 5% off with CoOp card and you've got good quality food from an ethical retailer at same price as Tesco).
The other 'discounts' are easily matched or bettered by virtually everything else online.

I currently have a NUS Extra 3 years which ends next summer. I have also have Unidays and Student Beans which are A LOT better than these apart from for Co-op and Amazon Prime
Edited by: "Carson_Official" 21st Dec 2019
I had one of the NUS extra cards before, used it to buy an iMac with student discount, now it has to be unidays or something like that for Apple.

This is a waste of time, 39 quid a year for amazon prime is still a rip off. 10% off Co-op is pointless as Co-op is already over priced and is just a corner shop, most people don’t go there very often.
Can you do this if you already have amazon prime without having to change your email or anything else? Thanks
Is there a deal on unidays, my gym only accept that.

Wouldn't wave too hard from your high horse. Totum Pro is offered to trade union members as well, my wife is a USDAW member and got one, (edit - not Unison)

Boots tie it into your Advantage card so you don't need to whip 2 out.
Just literally found that out!
Might as well be sponsored by Amazon. In fact it might well be through some financial chicanery.
for me not a deal, especially you can get studentbeans/unidays for free and the £30, it doesn't offer much in the way of "real" discount.

Eh, 10% (sometimes 20%) off at Superdrug is good, and I just used it in Leon last week and saved about the cost of a year's membership already. Not as good as the glory days of 50% off Spotify Premium, but still OK
40% off las iguanas with a totem card too, Monday-thursday
