1 - 4 weeks wait time..... Or just pop into Argos
I bought this last time it was on Amazon. I use it almost daily.
Can't compare it to anything more expensive.
But makes oven chips, fish fingers, scampi, oven veg all from frozen in less than 15mins.
I've never put oil in it. Not sure if you're meant to. Very handy. Will be good to rotate with the toastie maker for "feast or famine" use.

but how does it taste, it's not dry?
So I guess my 3.2L Salter Air Fryer is 4.3L too
Go for a digital timer if possible. This is a good price for the size

Voted hot. I had it previously. But fan broke after one year so keep receipt for warranty.

No. It's better than it would taste out of the oven.

Is the Air Fryer producing crispy crispness texture or is it the soft mushy texture you get from oven cooking ?

Say a chicken burger or chicken for example

I haven't made either. But chips are crispy as are fish fingers.

I've avoided buying a take away twice since I got it because I can make chips, veg, steak (in frying pan) in 15mins, so it's already paid for itself.

I'll get some chicken legs / thighs at weekend and report back.
Can this deep fry fish and chips ?

Kindest regards

It's not a deep fryer, it's an air fryer. I cook fish and chips in mine though

I needed something a bit juicy if you get my gist... I hate dry food!

Kindest regards

Thanks been interested in these air fryers but just never believed you could get the same taste or texture of chips or veg that you would from frying in oil still feels hard to believe an air fryer without oil can get similar results.

You know I crave chippy chips and every once in a while I'll give in, get them and then eat a few and then find them too greasy.

I grew up with a Tefal deep fat fryer in the 80s, but I think my taste buds have changed.

But they are crispy. But then that's probably down to the coating on them. I'm buying oven chips. And of the 3 different types Asda, McCain and Tesco they've all been good. Roast potatoes are next on list.

And roast veg cooked at the same time comes out great too.

For £28 I took a gamble. If I didn't like it, I would donate it to the local charity place that helps people less fortunate in life. But alas it's staying.

I'm with you on that. I find it hard to believe that I'd get results that I'd be happy with when using one of these. I bought my parents a frier where the basket is tilted and rotates so the food isn't continually submerged in oil meaning it's healthier that straight deep fat frying, but still gives great results. I forget the name of the machine.

For this price though, I'm sure it's not a bad option, though it will depend what you want to cook in it.

That machine sounds good, I did read some of the amazon reviews of this tower air fryer and some did say you won't get the oily crispness taste but it does product a crispness just different. I don't mind oven food as the healthy option but pre heat oven for 20-30mins and then cook 20-30 mins where as this air fryer looks quicker, greener on the bills and adds at least some crispness to the food.

Shame its gone up in price but next time !
