This blender does ice as well as making smoothies soups etc. and is probably the most powerful of it's kind.

Saw you comment on the failed Sainsburys Nutri Ninja deal, gonna have a see if I can pick this up at my local B&M later cheers.
Do you know if it's the same as this model on Amazon as I'm trying to find some reviews?

The one on Amazon says 1000 watt this one says 1200 watt so it may be the same with improved wattage. I will google to find out.

I suspect it's this one on Amazon ... here.
Yes it is the same but they describe it as 1000 watt when it is according to Tower 1200 watt. Go to Tower web site for small video demo. You may be able to get extra mugs and lids etc. from Tower after you make a purchase. By the way they are selling it for £10 more than B&M.

No that's a different model. Why do manufacturers make several models of an appliance that does the same thing?

apparently rebrand of the Salter Nutri Pro / tower vitablend Pro
As for the 1000 watt/1200 watt debate the discrepancy is likely to be due to the variance in operating voltage 220-240Volts
I could be wrong
Just gutted I missed the £16.** Homebase offer!
Walthamstow Homebase store showing one but won't sell asit's a display model
I got it on the Homebase offer and love it, smashes through ice no problem. The only difference with this and the premium products is the size, its a bit bigger and quite heavy, however I think this is a result of the large motor. The specifications on the machine say 1000-1200w.so I think Darknight is correct regarding the Volts.
Thought I'd let you know I picked one up last night, used it once and blended fruit, ice and seeds up within seconds. Very easy to use. Thanks for posting OP. Deserves much more heat than its got so far.
