First deal so feel free to hold your punches this air fryer should be 49.99 and is down to 39.99.

However if you add the voucher HOME20 you can get it for 31.99

I've just bought this deal myself and the chips I'm eating while watching the Sunday footie are really good.

Description
Great tasting and healthier food is just a fry away with the Tower T17021 Air Fryer. It uses little or no oil at all, and instead rapid air circulates round to cook your food fast. It's ample 4.3 litre capacity pot and 3.2 litre capacity basket is more than enough for a family meal. You'll be more than impressed with the frying results.

I already have an actifry which is getting quite old now so are these better and worth changing to?

From the specs it seems like the smaller model. It all depends on what you need. That model is 1.6 litres whereas this one is 3.2 litres.
Does the code work for reserving and paying in store?
Where do you put the coupon code in? Ive gone as far as I dare and I think the next press will reserve it at full price.

I used the fast track process. Paid online. Before you finish the payment process you can put in the voucher code. Doubt you can use the code on the reservation process

I couldn't find a way, I ended up paying online for fast track collection
Yes!!! Thank you! Heat added and code worked for me. Ordered on my Argosapp, paid now using the code and will collect tomorrow. Been wanting one of these for ages. The larger size at a good price. Perfect. Great start OP!!
Good air fryer, mine broke after 8m however Argos replaced quibble free
Cheers op,heated and ordered. Just hoping Tesco refund my other airfryer which I've had for two weeks
Excellent deal, just purchased one
Just did Argos live chat, was informed that we have 30days return window, even if you use but don't like the airfryer for any reason. After 30days said they can send out an engineer to check airfryer if it's possibly faulty within first 12 months
Thanks for the heads-up. That code works for all homewares. I just ordered the digital version, T17024, normally £49.99 but reduced by £10 with the code to £39.99. Not sure how long it will last so I bought it on Fastrack and will collect tomorrow.

Im tempted by the digital one - although (apart from digital) doesn't look much different then this one?
Can anyone comment on how one of these compares to a tefal actifry?

Can anyone comment on how one of these compares to a tefal actifry?

just looking at the pictures of the Actifey and the most obvious is that the Air Fryer has no middle bit. It's basically a deep fat fryer cage in a small fan assisted oven. I've cooked children's pizzas in there, pork chops. Anything you'd cook in an oven can be cooked in an Air Fryer, though you'll need an oven proof dish for lasagne and nachos.

How long do chips take to cook for example pls

Elliot Gleave is an exceptionally busy artist so he needs his food ultra quick!

I'd suggest Example will need his chips far quicker than this machine will allow and would therefore probably suggest McCain microchips or a supermarket 'home brand' equivalent.

The length of time chips would take to cook in this airfryer are probably more in line with a less hectic schedule. Someone like Rick Waller, Meatloaf or Robbie Williams.

Hope that helps.

Frozen French fries took 30 mins
At 4.3L, is this one too big for 2 people? Would the 2.2L T17023 one be a better size?

I have read the comments a bigger fryer allows more air circulation, but is it possible to be excessively big?

Thanks.

When you take into account the volume of space the basket itself uses then you're left with 3.2 litres. Exactly double the small one. Personally I'd rathe have something I can half fill for 2 people rather than need to cook twice for 4
Thanks. I think I will ask to see both of them then decide.
Cheers OP! Been on my radar for a while this so just ordered. Had to go down the Fast Track route and pay online to be able to enter the discount code. Will be collecting tomorrow 🔥
Perfect timing, thanks OP. Wanted an air fryer and had £10 voucher to use. £23.99 will do me nicely! Shame they took the £10 off, then 20% though...
I have just used mine and I wasn’t impressed with it. Uneven cooking some chips burnt and some undercooked. Anyone else experience issues? Mine is going back

Thanks for that. I just wanted to know what to look out for.

We have used it twice and very impressed so far. Frozen chips took around 20 minutes with no pre heating and were much tastier than when done in the oven.

Does it have to be oven chips or can you do normal ones?

You can do almost anything you can put in a standard oven in an air fryer. You can even bake a cake in it, if you're feeling adventurous.

So you couldn't cook chips that are meant to be cooked in a deep fat fryer, ie non-oven chips, seeing as they aren't marketed for cooking in an oven?

*shrug* I'd put homemade chips in there, perhaps Google if deep fat chips are OK in an oven? Then you'll have your answer
Awesome, got mine today! Came with a 3 year extended warranty as well

Codey no worky.
Sad times. Must have expired
I don't suppose anyone will read this but I'll post anyway. I bought this air fryer 3 weeks ago and it's been marvellous. However, the internal coating of the base (where you put the basket) is beginning to blister and fly off with some probably landing in the food. Back to Argos tomorrow with it. I may try a replacement but I suspect the same thing might happen. Has anyone else had a similar experience?
