Well, I used to cook soups and things like that for over 2 hours, bought this one and it was ready in 45 minutes (it takes 15 min to boil). I guess it's lots of saved energy. It's 6l but there are smaller sizes available. It comes with a steamer but I'm not sure how to use that, so will just ignore it.
