I've been watching for this to come down on blu-ray since Christmas. Contrary to the reviews on Amazon the movie was well received.

RT.com

When Bonnie takes the toys on her family's road trip, Woody ends up on an unexpected detour that includes a reunion with his long-lost friend Bo Peep, whose adventurous spirit and life on the road belie her delicate porcelain exterior. Woody and Bo are worlds apart when it comes to life as a toy, and they soon realise that that's the least of their worries.

It's the only film in the quadrilogy I'd not want to watch again.
Such a huge, huge letdown of a film. It ruined the absolutely perfect ending of Toy Story 3. The story in TS4 seemed completely unnecessary. It was nowhere near as funny or memorable.

The animation was top class of course and Pixar hit it out of the park in the regard. But wow, what a needless film to make. You can kind of tell the makers were creatively bankrupt at this point.

For me, it's still a trilogy. This is more a spin-off because the main cast hardly have a role and it's just Woody's story. I can endlessly rewatch the first three films but I don't think I'll ever watch this one again. So massively disappointing.

Like most new films these days
If you have a cex nearby and they have stock they are currently selling the 3D at £12 and 4K at £15 for those interested.

Spot on.

To be honest, I fell asleep watching Toy Story 4.

The first three films I'd happily rewatch again and again though.
Is Mr potato head in it?

You know the news reporter

This film sure moves away from kids playing with toys & therefore different in that respect but nonetheless still thought it was a great film. As with all (Pixar) animation type films had to buy it when it came out. Got mine from Sainsbury's that came with a free book
£10 for a standard bluray seems very steep.

It's only been on disc for four months mate. Can't expect rock bottom prices within a year and Disney / Pixar films tend to hold their value for awhile.
I love Toy Story but 4 is so bad. Got bored half way threw.
1st ones the best

Grandkids 3&4 love all of em Heat!

This reminded me of the 'Jason Bourne' film.

You had a good trilogy that told a story and wrapped it all up with a satisfying ending. Then you find a weak plot for a sequel which, whilst it isn't a bad film, adds nothing and just feels tacked on to make money.
It undid the frankly epic ending of 3
This film was such a letdown

Yep should of left it at 3 which is epic from start to finish, especially because they all play a part all the way through.
I personally loved it. Hilarious.

Bonus that my Son is now into Toy Story as I can watch them all the time and they are childhood classics for me.

Forky is a legend!!!
I commented on avforums after we saw it at the cinema.
The last part was OK but didn't make up for the majority. There would never have been Toy Story 2 if this had been Toy Story 1.
And forky.. Seriously? They spent hundreds of millions on that as a concept..
Such a boring film
I disliked it at the cinema, but It was far better on repeat viewings. It has to be accepted as a stand alone movie, ignore the previous three, they have no real influence here. The movie also ignores a tonne of things we know from previous movies, to name a few... such as the age of Andy’s sister in relation to him, the material of Woodys head (it’s wood, his name is woody even, yet Bonnies dad still manages to squash it), the whole new Bo-peep is completely not the same toy as in 1 & 2.

What? You appear to be the one trolling...
Toy story 4 is on now TV cinema at the moment, if you just want to watch it this would be the cheapest way! You can get a month's free now TV cinema with Vodafone rewards ATM too. But if you need to have the physical copy this is the best price I've seen around.
