What is the point of these signs?! Doesn't make tw*ts drive better! You just 'advertise' that you have expensive carseat and probably a pram in the car lol

Cheap price but pointless product?

As far as i am aware they are to alert the emergency services to your car should you have an accident to make them aware your car is likely to have a child in

I think all the general crap in the car would indicate the presence of a child to anyone with any intelligence whatsoever...!

Yeah kind of makes sense about emergency services.

Lizjking - that depends on a person's choice how tidy to keep their car. Tinted windows help too

How this can "advertise" anything? Some morons, who would like to make an accident to get money from insurance company, can notice this sign and then they should avoid any crash. I think more then half of them thinking this way, so this sign is very useful in my opinion.

What's the point of furry dice? petrol cap covers? Bumper stickers? None but people buy them and obviously there is a market for them...

I agree...when I see someone with these in car I think...pointless, I then see them drive like w*nk*rs and then I think reckless!

Child on board, mother driving & paying more attention to the rear seat than her mirrors - alert!

You think those people have morals?

Seems more likely they would target such vehicles as they have more chance the driver isn't being attentive.

Yes but if you speak to a lot of the emergency services it is a double edge sword as the car may not have the kids on board at the time of the accident, they could risk their own lives trying to find non existent kids.

bought two of these the other day for this price also had toy story seat belt covers for £1

''Princess on board''....probably the same parents who let their 6 year old daughters wear tracksuit bottoms with ''juicy'' written over their asses.

If only this was the case, this is what parents actually think, the sign acts as an invisible shield that protects them and their children from all evil in the world. The " demon driver " that was about to run them off the road with his red eyes burning while screaming " die, die," suddenly notices the sign and birds start to sing, he waves and smiles at the children and the world is a good place again........................but wait !, what is that man doing waving and smiling at our children.

Great idea. Children are more likely to have already gone splat so they can divert their resources towards the adults as they're generally easier to save.

I agree. The only way these signs would work would be if the signs were taken down each time the child is not in the car ans who's going to remember to do that? I think they were a good idea when they first came out but now that they are everywhere no one pays attention to them anymore.
Depending on where they are placed can inhibit rear vision (if rear window is small).
I'd hate to think that the emergency services would only check a car with more detail in they happened to see one of these signs (if it were still legible after the crash). I would hope they would check all of the seats in the car and a child seat/booster seat or chid seat base would hopefully be visible.

I honestly thought about creating one of these signs titled "What's the point in these signs?"

Rant over....sorry OP, it is a very good price if you're looking for one of these.

Very useful for drivers who like to park in the 'parent and child' places next to the supermarket door, because they're too lazy to walk that terrible 20 yards from a standard parking bay.

Stock gone!

I had a go at someone for doing this once. Lazy people that do that. I told her what I thought of people like her. It was then that I, as a white male, realised I just told an Indian woman what I thought of "her lot". Oopsy!

Baby on Board signs. Giving a false sense of security to moos* since 1979

*Moo - A female breeder. So-called because such women drop offspring like cows do, seeming to have little other purpose in life, and sometimes conspicuously breastfeed them in public. They often also bovinely ignore them...unless you attempt to discourage their crotchfruit from screaming or otherwise misbehaving in public, in which case they will begin lowing like an angry cow whose calf has been threatened.

And i thought it was only me who hated these signs with a passion! :-). What gets me is people who leave the signs in their car when they park up for the night and then moan at you for putting a brick through their car window!! "But I was trying to save your precious child who is in the car (as you have indicated by your sign) without any windowns open". Ungrateful gits!!!

anyone know where I can get a sign "White Van and BMW drivers f**k off from getting so close to my ass!
