If nobody buys their stock then the staff don't get their wages/pensions and HMRC doesn't get their taxes.
Grow up.
Thanks.
All the good stuff will get shipped to other stores.
The remaining tat that every other store can’t shift will be reduced by measly discounts.
Then when they move to 40-50% off it will too late because shoppers will assume it’s all tat.
Final days will be a bun fights for a tamagotchi at 90% off!

Let's go to Bristol and pay extra for transport.
I checked the basingstoke store which is also closing. Anything of interest was still cheaper online and all Lego was gone.

Corporate Greed , time for you to get a bargain. The taxpayers would already be bailing the pensioners out.

Voted hot. I remember the rich pickings I made when BHS , Comet and Woolworths closed down.

Any idea what is happening to online stock, just ordered a car seat
As a kid I liked our superstore in the town centre of Cardiff. They had everything. Last Xmas buying for my child I visited the now out of town store numerous times, either it wasn’t stocked, out of stock, or far too highly priced. They didn’t adapt or step up when others around them, and not just online, smyths, entertainer and the big supermarkets stepped all over them. Someone put Geoffrey down his time is up.

This store is shocking... not surprise it was one to go. I live south of Bristol and The Entertainer in Midsomer Norton is a lot smaller but stocks a better range of toys and is more competitive on price, only thing it can't compete on is the baby stuff and the outdoor toys. The Toys 'R' Us store is literally 10-15 times bigger in size.
Checked my closing local store ,an hour totally wasted.

I've still got my knickers mannequin (belly button down to mid-thigh thing) as a quirky piece that my partner got me for a fiver when BHS was going. Makes a solid stand for a lamp I have!
Hayes store is closing down if anyone is nearby
What about Xbox one x. They 30% off?

Hayes store is closing down if anyone is nearby

Have they reduced many items at Hayes do you know?
Have some heat - I was going to post this about my local Belfast/Newtownabbey store, but I see you beat me to it!
I got to use my £5 voucher as well, it looks like everything had at least 10% off, with some items as high as 30% off. I bought some rechargeable batteries and other unnecessary items - over £50 and got a £10 off voucher on my next £20 spend...I don't know what the price point is to qualify for the voucher though.

Oh never thought to check consoles (there where none out on display - but I did notice all the Leappad items had 30% off)
Maybe worth mentioning they had a large selection of Lego Dimensions sets all with 20% off. I also saw a pallet of Lego creators 900 piece set behind the counter (must have been stacked 5 foot high!)...
Cheapest items I saw were Christmas wrapping paper for 10p/roll and Lego trading cards for 16p - they would also have a further 10% off at least...

I didn’t see any consoles/games so I think they have all been removed or sent to other stores

Sorry I didn't go in. I saw the posters from outside saying closing down
Has anybody checked the Bolton store? Was looking run down back November, just wondered if they had any good clearance stock, particularly lego? Thanks

Lots of plushies but good stuff is gone, video game stuff still expensive (and ALL the Lego has been moved to another store when we asked). Some Babies R Us stuff discounted and they had car seats and things it seems

Oh yeah and they gave a voucher for £10 off a spend at Uxbridge Toys r Us in March even though only spent £11
Bolton had some good prices on Disney Princess things-25% off lowest ticket prices. Plenty of the barbie type princess dolls, the toddler dolls, also dress up accessories and play sets including the new style Frozen items. They had 20% off the Top Model sticker books which I have always found great and never reduced. 20-25% off craft items including play doh, Hama and Crayola!
