why colds guys Need a bike for tuesday this the cheapest if u know any cheaper let me know

Bikes like this are incredibly heavy for kids to ride and the suspension and other components are generally very poor.
Not everyone wants a £1000+ bike, but ones like this can put you off riding for good.

Saw one on halfords for 79.99 few days ago if that helps..

The cycling snobs will tel you how awful these bikes are. I grew up riding Raleigh Impala bikes. they were made of solid steel, had big heavy wheels, no gears and solid unrelenting saddles. as a kid my bike was my freedom, my escape and I loved it. You dont have to spend hundreds for a kid to have fun. make sure it's property assembled and maintained and Bob's your aunties husband! Heat added.

Bike Shaped Object, it means something that resembles a bike but isn't one due to poor manufacturing and cheap components that don't last.

thanks for comments everyone !!! i aint a bike expert and just need a little run around at affordable Price... if she Likes the bike and uses it more than we think then a better bike will be considered...

i think for what my Daughter will use this and as for being put of bike due to poor bikes i dont remember that happening to me as a kid the fun part was fixing the chain and punctures

Raleigh made half decent bikes then though. This one is fitted with unnecessarily heavy suspension and will likely weigh in around 20kg. This size is for around 8-10 year olds and that would be approx 50-75% of their body weight to get moving.
When teaching my daughter to ride on a regular girl's bike, she really struggled. I was frustrated at first, thinking she wasn't trying hard enough, then looked at the components, weight etc. Her 20" wheeled bike weighed more than my large framed hybrid. Replaced it with a Frog bike, which are designed specifically for kids and there as such a drastic improvement, it was like waving a magic wand.
Similarly, I have access to some budget mtb's at work. They're perfectly fine, but when I get onto my own mid range bike, it's so much nicer to ride.
